This class is different — because I live with headaches and migraines too. I know what it's like to need relief without being able to tolerate light, sound, or movement.


This is a quiet, minimal-cue restorative class, with supportive props and an inclined setup to reduce head pressure. Optional: heating pad, ice pack, and eye pillow — anything that helps you soften into rest.

✨ A Moment to Reflect + A Special Practice for You ✨

This past month has been big—astrologically, energetically, and personally.
I’ve felt it deeply in my own journey.

So much has been stirring…
Moments of reflection, growing awareness, and a beautiful deepening into my purpose—not as a teacher delivering information, but as a frequency holder.

Yesterday’s somatic meditation [membership exclusive] was one of the most profound experiences I’ve had in guiding our practice together.

Here’s a glimpse of what came through…

OH. MY. GOSH.

That somatic meditation was incredible.
As we moved through it, something shifted. I dropped the notes... and it was like stepping into another realm.

✨ First, I was guided to bring forward the energy of stagnation, not tension. Light entered those places, like luminosity reawakening.
✨ Then came the fascia tangles—gently unraveling through awareness.
✨ Then the nadis, and the smooth return of flow as presence cleared the blockages.
✨ And finally, we entered the hormonal system—thymus, thyroid, pineal—lighting up in sequence.

It felt so seamless, like something (or someone) beyond me was guiding.
My only job was to step aside and let embodied awareness lead.

As much as I want to keep creating and sharing, I’m listening deeply to what my body and heart are asking for.

My father-in-law has been visiting all month, and behind the scenes we’ve also been immersed in the very grounded work of preparing our books for tax season (you know how that goes 😅).
It’s been beautiful—but I haven’t had a full day off in weeks.

So today, I’m taking a pause.
There won’t be a new class tomorrow—but I have so many beautiful sessions planned for you in April, and I can’t wait to share them.

🌊✨ Reflecting, Realigning, and Moving Forward ✨🌊

Hello beautiful souls! 💙 Lately, I’ve been taking some time to reflect deeply on what I truly value and how my offerings align with my inner truth. 🌿💫

💜 Pisces season (Feb 18 - Mar 20) is all about intuition, spiritual exploration, and aligning with our dreams. As an Aquarius ♒️, this time of year lights up my second house—a space of self-worth, personal values, and making sure my outer world reflects my inner essence. ✨

I had hoped to release a Pisces New Moon Yoga Nidra 🌑💤 but with all this reflection & recalibration, I just couldn’t get it all done this week. And with Tim away 🎥 on a big filming job in Vancouver, it just felt right to honour the natural flow rather than force it. 🌊

Meanwhile, our amazing members 💛 met on Wednesday for a somatic meditation practice 🧘‍♀️💫 as we wrap up our month on Nervous System Regulation through Spiritual Ascension and step into March’s theme: HSP Superpowers! ⚡🌿

Eighteen years ago today, I made it through one of the most challenging parts of my life.

Have you ever been in a situation where the odds felt stacked against you, and the only way out was through?

For me, it was during my Ph.D. dissertation. It wasn’t just the grueling 10 years of study, the endless rewrites, or my advisor’s insistence that I work 10 times harder than everyone else because I was a woman and Canadian. It was all of that... plus writing my qualifying exams while eight months pregnant.

And then, mid-qualifying exams, my water broke.

I’ll never forget calling my advisor from the car on the way to the hospital to tell her I couldn’t finish the exam.

I called myself the dragon slayer.

Every rewrite, every qualifying exam, every obstacle became part of the journey to that final milestone: successfully defending my dissertation.

My research explored how consumer capitalist culture shapes our ideas, values, and beliefs, embedding itself so deeply in society that it becomes invisible, accepted as “normal” or “common sense.”

This invisible influence is something that I still weave it into my yoga teachings. Over the next couple of months in our membership community, we’ll be exploring this question: Who profits from our insecurities?

Today, I celebrate the day I became a dragon slayer, the day I successfully defended my dissertation.
