The Pole Dancer
Summer break is officially behind us, and I’m excited to jump back into classes with you! 💃
thepoledancer.com/online-classes
I’ve got two new goodies lined up:
🚀 The comeback hit – Ayesha & Handspring broke records a few years back. This round is all about exploring 𝐀𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐬 that go beyond the basics.
Level: High Intermediate & Advanced
⭐️ The brand-new baby – 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰 tackles the common struggle of running out of energy mid-combo. We’re fixing that — but in a fun, flowy way. No boring drills, just creative movement that sneaks the stamina in.
Level: High Beginner & Intermediate
And here’s the best part: These classes are included in the MEMBERSHIP we just launched!
If you’re a member, you’re automatically signed up – all the classes, all the replays straight to your inbox, no sign-ups needed. Easy peasy.
Or grab a discounted package for one class series – available only for a short time. 👉 thepoledancer.com/online-classes/
We start next week on Wednesday, September 3rd.

Wanna stay active through July and August? ☀️
One more juicy class series is rolling in before the summer break. ►► thepoledancer.com/online-classes
Actually, two! And both are on the 𝐅𝐋𝐄𝐗𝐘 side of pole tricks.
💜 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐄 (beg/inter)
Can you work on pole splits as a beginner, even if you don’t have your splits yet?
Yes and no.
Splits on the pole are usually harder than splits on the floor, especially if you want them to look nice and flat. But there are shapes you can start out with, even as a beginner.
Some are “fake” splits that are easy to do and that look great from a certain angle. Others require more active flexibility and control.
In this series, you’ll learn techniques to create big and beautiful splits on the pole, using a mix of flexibility training and smart technique. Also suitable for advanced students who’d like to improve their active flexibility.
We’ll focus on:
* Flexibility drills specifically for the pole
* Moves that can be turned into flashy pole splits (but don’t have to be)
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬:
Basic invert from the floor / Leg hangs / Forearm stand/ Splits recommended but not a must
💜 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐒 & 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐒 (inter/adv)
This series is for all intermediate and advanced students who love pretty, bendy shapes, and don’t shy away from elbow hook grips.
The Satellite is a sister move to the Pegasus and the Teardrop.
Think of the Pegasus as strength-based, and Satellite as the bendy counterpart. If Pegasus still feels out of reach, this class is the perfect prep.
We’ll cover a variety of progressions and variations — from baby Satellite and Teardrop shapes to more advanced and flexible tricks.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬:
Solid Brass Monkey and Bow & Arrow (different entries and exits) / Comfortable with elbow hooks and bendy upside-down shapes

JUNE CLASSES start soon.💥Choose your fighter: Advanced overspilts tricks or dynamic pole choreo?
►► thepoledancer.com/online-classes/
💜 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐄 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐒 & 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐒 (advanced)
This is the extra badass version of “Spreadies to the Gods” – with one foot on the pole, and the other on the opposite side of the world! 🔥
There are 3 ways to do oversplits on the pole:
A) You’re naturally super bendy, so your splits look like oversplits
B) You FAKE an overspilt by adjusting the angle
C) You use technique & flexibility to do REAL oversplits and get both feet on the pole.
In this class, we’ll work on REAL and FAKE oversplits.
Don’t be deceived, fake doesn’t mean easy.
Just like regular splits, oversplits are harder on the pole than on the floor.
Class 1 is suitable for intermediate students. The following classes are advanced.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬:
✓ Solid Brass Monkey with different entries,
✓ Flat splits or oversplits on the floor
+ Helpful (not required): Backbends, Ayesha, Dragontail
💜 𝐋𝐘𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐄 (intermediate)
Choreo #1 "You Tear Me Apart" is dynamic and expressive, with a dark and mysterious mood.
From aerial moves and transitions to acrobatic floorwork, we use the entire horizontal and vertical space. Every moment is perfectly timed with the music.
It’s intermediate level since the fast pace and dynamic moves can be challenging. But all levels are welcome.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬:
✓Strong Climbs and Sits
✓Familiar with floorwork – Shoulder Stands and Shoulder Rolls
✓Basic Spins

NEW CLASSES start next week Wednesday. From the fundamentals to unusual tricks - I gotchu!
►► thepoledancer.com/online-classes
💜 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐒 & 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐒 (High Intermediate/Advanced)
The Meathook isn’t the most popular trick, but it opens the door to some amazing shapes – like the Hangglider Split and the Bui Bend. It’s a stunning move on its own and a smooth transition in combos. You can play with its look even just by adjusting your leg position. The basic Meathook is an intermediate-level move, but in more advanced shapes it demands strong side bending and shoulder flexibility.𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬:
✓ Shoulder Strength & Flexibility
✓ Side Bend Flexibility
✓ Basic Meathook from a leg hang
✓ Aerial Invert, Jade, Ballerina, Extended Butterfly
☆ Ideally Ayesha & Handspring
💜 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐊𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 (Intermediate)
In this series, we’ll cover intermediate fundamentals with the goal of polishing what you already know, building strength, and preparing to tackle harder tricks.
We’ll:
⭐ Polish your technique in Leg Hangs & Switches, (Extended) Butterfly, Jade, Superman, Dragonfly, Torso Switches, Cross Ankle Release, and more.
⭐ Play with shape variations and different combos.
⭐ Work on clean entries & exits, and smooth transitions.
⭐ Touch on next-level tricks, like the Ballerina and Brass Sit.
⭐ Build strength for aerial inverts, solid hand grips and leg hooks.
𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬:
✓ Solid climbs
✓ Basic invert from the floor (No aerial invert needed)
✓ First tricks upside down - Crucifix, Handstand Butterfly, Leg Hangs & Switches, Jasmine.
☆ Ideally, you’ve done Butterfly and Jade before.

NEW CLASSES start next week Wednesday – all about stunning aerial shapes and combos.

💜 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐒 (𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫/𝐀𝐝𝐯)
We’ll tackle laybacks that are stunning yet nerve-wracking – Russian Layback, Satellite, Brass Bridge, Orion, and many more.
We’ll build up safely and progressively – starting from the floor, using multiple contact points, and gradually working up to more challenging variations (only when you feel ready). Each move explores different contact points and entries, so we’ll have a diverse range of beautiful shapes.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬: Strong leg hooks - Brass Monkey, Cross Ankle Release, Cupid, Stargazer, Bird.Backbend flexibility is a plus, but „inflexible“ modifications will be provided.
💜 𝐍𝐎-𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐓 𝐀𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐒 (𝐁𝐞𝐠/𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫)
You climb up the pole and all you can think of is… Sit, Hello Boys, Hood Ornament, Cross Knee Release. 😐You’re not alone. Most no-invert classes focus on these standard tricks, leaving students repeating the same moves for ages until they’re ready to invert. But there’s so much more! This series introduces you to beginner-friendly aerial shapes and combos that go beyond the beginner foundations.
If you’re familiar with basic beginner tricks, this class will help you explore new contact points, variations, and upright moves. All while building strength and control for more advanced tricks.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬: Climbs, Sit, Snake, Cross Knee Release, Hello Boys

We’ll explore different grips, entries, shapes and combos with the stunning Marion Amber Split.
This advanced move requires a strong Pull-and-Push technique in inverted positions – similar to Butterfly and Ayesha.

As usual, we’ll start with the easiest variations.
Class 1 is suitable for intermediate level students with a solid Extended Butterfly. For the rest of the series, Ayesha is recommended.
