Today I’m launching a new season of the podcast, one that goes deeper into what really breaks us, what holds us back, and what finally sets a man free.
This new direction comes straight out of the biggest transition of my life. My wife and I sold everything we owned in Boise. Literally everything. We packed our entire life into two carry-ons and moved to Cape Town to start fresh, live lighter, and build a life rooted in purpose, meaning, and health.
This season reflects that shift.
Less noise. More truth.
Less “hacks.” More systems.
Less pretending everything’s fine and more honest conversations about why so many midlife men feel exhausted, irritable, stuck, or off track.
The new episode is called “The BROKEN System That Was Ruining My Life.”
It’s the most honest I’ve ever been on camera. I walk through the loop that ran my life for years: the metabolic crashes, the stress, the inflammation, the emotional burnout, and how I finally saw it for what it was. If you’re a man in midlife and you’ve been feeling off, this one will hit home.

Midlife isn’t a dead end—it’s a turning point.
This new video is personal for me. The fear of death woke me up. I stopped running from the storm and started doing what the buffalo do—into it. Midlife is fall: leaves drop, light shortens, and we harvest what matters.
What it means to me: I’m finishing the cathedral of my life—brick by brick. Less stuff. Less performance. More truth, craft, love, and service.
What it can mean for you: A clean slate. Drop the weight (stuff, roles, expectations). Reinvent—be “selfish” first so you can give from overflow. Live by your code, not someone else’s. And remember—it’s never too late to put a date on a new goal.
