ନିଜର ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ ରୋଗର କାରଣ ହୋଇଯାଏ - Autoimmune Disease

Autoimmune diseases are conditions where the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own tissues. For unknown reasons, women are more susceptible than men. Prof. Dr. Jyoti Ranjan Parida, D.M. Rheumatology, Gold Medalist, Chief Consultant & Medical Director Centre - Odisha Arthritis & Rheumatology Center, Bhubaneswar has described that Immunology is a dept. which doesn't deal with any particular body organ. More than 80 different types of autoimmune diseases are known to exist, impacting almost every major organ system in the body. Most common ones are 1) Diabetes, 2) HIV, 3) Thyroid, 4) Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), 5) Psoriasis or Psoriatic Arthritis, 6) Multiple Sclerosis, 7)Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
The Doctor has explained that this can happen due to genetic predisposition, environmental factors, and immune system dysregulation.
1. Genetic Factors: Certain genes may predispose individuals to develop autoimmune conditions 2. Environmental Factors: Every time one's genes change as per the environment called Epigenetics. Pollution, lifestyle, microorganisms, etc. are the environmental factors that lead to changes in the genes of an individual. 3. Immune System: Autoimmune diseases are typically caused by an immune system that is overactive or dysregulated, where normal immune responses are disrupted.
Addressing the rising incidence of autoimmune diseases in India requires a multifaceted approach:
1. Public Awareness and Education: Increasing awareness about autoimmune diseases, their symptoms, and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment can help reduce the impact. 2. Urbanization and changes in lifestyle habits: Proper diet, physical activity, and low stress levels, can lead to develop a healthy immune system.
Some few small practical steps individuals can take: ABCD Formula
a) ACCEPT: One has to accept his/her long-term disease. b) BELIEF: Have faith in your Doctor
c) CONTINUED TREATMENT: Never discontinue the treatment d) DISCUSSION WITH DRs ONLY: Never Discuss your health with anyone else except Doctors
Symptoms can vary widely depending on the specific disease and the part of the body affected, but common symptoms of autoimmune diseases include
1. Recurring Fever: Unexplained fevers that come and go.
2. Ulcers: Nonhealing wounds
3. Rheumatoid Arthritis: Joint pain, swelling, and stiffness, particularly in the hands and feet. 4. Drop of Haemoglobin: Haemoglobin starts falling down without any cause
5. Skin Problems: Rashes, redness, and other skin changes.

If one suspects they have an autoimmune disease, it's important to consult a healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Following the ABCD formula and prioritizing early diagnosis can be crucial steps in managing autoimmune diseases and improving outcomes for those affected.

Lawyers are the foot soldiers of our Constitution. They work within the framework established by the Constitution to uphold legal rights, ensure due process, and represent individuals and organizations within the legal system. Advocate Binayak Subudhi has shared his life story and his desire to pursue a unique and impactful career path. He has provided clear distinctions between a lawyer and an advocate, highlighting their job roles and responsibilities: 1. The Lawyer is the one who Provides legal advice and counsel to clients on legal rights, responsibilities, and obligations. Drafting legal documents such as contracts, wills, and agreements.
2. An advocate is a specific type of lawyer who represents clients in court proceedings, particularly in litigation.
He outlined two primary types of lawyers: litigation lawyers and non-litigation lawyers: Litigation is the process of fighting an argument or a case in court whereas Non Litigation work includes legal documentation or transactional work of a client or corporate.

Certainly, pursuing a career in law offers a wide range of job opportunities across various sectors like: 1. Lawyer can be an Advocate for litigation cases 2. Can be In-house Counsel, house lawyers, In house professional 3. The Government can appoint them as Law Officers

Indeed, the legal profession, like any other, has its challenges and lacunae that aspiring lawyers should be aware of: 1. Hierarchy and Seniority Issues: where seniors don't accept young professionals in courts 2. Skill set & Competency : Junior lawyers who lack a strong skill set or experience may struggle to handle complex cases or satisfy client expectations, which can impact their career progression.
3. Case Volume & income : There may be a limited volume of cases available, especially for junior lawyers. This can result in lower income potential initially.
Legal fraternity should be built to motivate the young generation of lawyers both financially and in education also.
Lastly, Advocate has focused on earlier major concern about high fees for enrollment in the state Bar council which is now the Supreme Court has reserved a uniform enrolment fees for every state.
The Supreme Court has declared the political funding is Unconstitutional in the case of Electoral bond as it violates the Right to Information Act.

In essence, the legal profession acts as a safeguard against misconduct and injustice by upholding legal standards, advocating for justice, and providing recourse for those affected by wrongful actions.
By understanding these dynamics and proactively addressing them, aspiring lawyers can better prepare themselves for a fulfilling and successful career in law despite the inherent challenges of the profession.

Often you must have heard the story of a Sportsman, but today we can proudly say the video is on Real Sportswomanship. The video chronicles the journey of an athlete with a lifelong passion for sports, beginning with her participation in school tournaments during her childhood. Her dedication and talent eventually led her to a significant milestone: competing & winning the District Champion award in the District Meet.
After she was clueless, felt uncertain about her sports career and the next steps in her athletic journey. Driven by her hard work and keen interest, she regularly wrote inland letters to Kalinga Stadium to seek information about upcoming events and the selection trial period.
Her proactive approach and determination paid off when she got to play at Kalinga Stadium, Cuttack. Subsequently, with support from the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and the sports hostel, she received advanced training, significantly improving her skills.
Her hard work culminated in winning a gold medal at the Junior Commonwealth Games, and she was subsequently selected for the senior state meet for India. She participated in many national & international games like the Common Wealth Games, Asian Grand Prix , SAF games and many more.

She got motivated after watching the performance of Mr. Dilip Tirkey Sir in the Olympics & dreamt of competing in the Olympics and winning a medal for India but everyone mocked her. But she achieved her dream of participating in the Olympics, proudly representing India on the world stage in Kazigsthan.

She has expressed her gratitude to the State and Indian governments for their support and initiatives in sports. She highlights how these initiatives have greatly benefited athletes, mentioning that the government has introduced programs allowing athletes to choose their preferred schooling with bus facilities provided. Additionally, for those coming from outside the state, online classes are available, ensuring they can continue their education while pursuing their sports careers.

She addresses a common misconception that women excel in sports due to less competition. She firmly counters this by stating that the competition is equally rigorous for everyone, regardless of gender, with all athletes having to compete through quarter-finals, semi-finals, and then finals. She also highlights the unique challenges women face, such as taking breaks from their sports careers for marriage or parenthood, making it more difficult for them to return to peak performance. In contrast, men generally do not face these same restrictions, allowing for more uninterrupted career progression.

She has urged the government to establish R&D centers focused on development, vision, and upgradation in coaching practices. This, she believes, is crucial to support athletes and help them excel in their respective careers.

Lastly she shares valuable advice for those aspiring to build a career in sports, emphasizing that there are now numerous facilities and incentives provided by the government. These resources and rewards can significantly aid athletes in achieving their goals, making it a more viable and supported career path than ever before.

So if you have a passion for sports and dream of building a career in athletics, this video will be an invaluable source of motivation and information.

Surgery is done on the human body to get rid of an injury or repair a non-functional organ. Technology brings Perfections. Robotic surgery is a modern surgical technique that uses advanced robotic systems to assist surgeons in performing complex surgical procedures with greater precision and control. The system comes along with a camera and arms to control it. In this video Dr Sunil Dash, Director- Joint Coordinator Unit at AMRI Hospital Bhubaneswar & HOD of Orthopedics at Hi-Tech Medical College and hospital, Bhubaneswar specialized in robotic surgery has shared his experience of 300 plus Robotic Assisted Surgery done till date with minimal complications. Dr has described two types of Technology involved in surgery in simpler language 1. First is "Computer Navigation Knee Replacement Surgery" where it involves a set of methods that use computer technology for surgical planning & for guiding Drs to perform surgery. 2. Second one is "Robotic Assisted Surgery" where the doctor can insert the camera into the area to be operated and control it with the help of the arms provided by the system. The camera connected to the computer console displays a precise 3D image of the surgical area to allow a doctor to understand the situation more precisely. The Robotic arms help to cut the bones & place the implants with perfection.

Dr has addressed many advantages of this advanced surgical technique: 1. It allows surgery to be precise where accuracy is paramount for successful results. 2. It involves small & fewer incisions that results in reduced postoperative pain, less blood loss, and a faster recovery time for patients compared to traditional open surgery. 3. Due to less pain, Physiotherapy can be done easily
4. Surgeons can change the plan if they want to 5. Surgery will be done independently by Robot as per surgeon given data. So Surgeon can recheck the cut measurements done by robotic arms 6. Robots are fully controlled by experienced surgeons who are specially trained in using these advanced tools. 7. Early results are satisfactory to both patients & surgeons
8. It is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA)

The doctor acknowledges that many people have fears and misconceptions about robotic surgery. 1. There is minimal increase in expenditure. It will cost around 20-25% hike in rate than Conventional surgery. 2.Technical error can happen due to power cut or machine shutdown but Robot will give indications if any error arises during surgery so that surgeon can rectify it immediately. 3. Small risk of infection similar to risks of traditional open surgery Complications of Conventional & Robotic Surgery is almost the same.

Lastly Dr advised some key majors: i) *Trust your Surgeons.* Ones Health is in the hands of Expertise and experienced doctors ii) One should take their *health* related issues *seriously* .
iii) *Early treatment* is advisable iv)Technology brings perfection but only with experience.
v) *Don't Panic* vi) *Take second option* before any surgery vii) *Have faith* and belief in *God* , your *Dr* & *Technology*
