Maris Aylward (born Dimayuga) is a Filipina actress, TV host, and yoga teacher (RYT-500). In 2010, she moved to the U.S. and started her yoga teaching career in Kansas City. She was also a TV Host at Kansas City PBS for 3 years. Maris now lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband David and their two children.

15 Min Hip Release Yoga Stretch | Lying Down Hip & Lower Body Stretches

This is a 15-minute hip release yoga stretch where we do all lying down hip and lower body stretches. We take our hip joint through the different movements (extension, flexion, adduction, abduction, internal and external rotation) and in the process stretch the muscles of the lower body (glutes, hip flexors, hamstrings, inner and outer thighs.) This is a good short practice to do to relieve stiffness and tension in the hips and lower body.

30 Min Intermediate Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga | Full Body Yoga Practice

This is a full body yoga practice I recommend for intermediate yoga students who are already familiar with most yoga poses and who are comfortable practicing in the vinyasa style. We do a standing sequence focused on strength (planks, core planks, pushups) with some balance work. Then we do a seated sequence with lingering stretches for recovery and relaxation. There is a few minutes of Savasana before we close the practice together.

I rarely do Power yoga classes anymore since my shoulder injury. This was challenging for me! Hope you enjoy it. Let me know if you are trying this out.

This video is a 15-minute yoga stretch for neck and shoulders that you can use for upper body tension relief. We do gentle movement and stretches for the neck, shoulders, chest, and upper back. Poses are held anywhere from 30-60 seconds. Optional prop: yoga strap or small towel.

We do a simple standing yoga sequence (no seated or supine poses) focused on balance poses - one-legged mountain pose, tree pose, warrior 3, and balancing half moon. Enjoy the nature sounds in the background.

NEW VIDEO TODAY: 30 Min Vinyasa Flow for Strength & Flexibility | Intermediate Full Body Yoga

This is a 30-minute intermediate full body vinyasa flow yoga class for strength and flexibility. I recommend this for intermediate and strong beginner yogis because there is minimal instruction in some of the common yoga poses. We move and stretch the whole body for better strength, flexibility, and balance. We start in standing in Mountain pose and end with a few minutes of Savasana before we close the practice together. No music.

This is a 20-minute daily seated yoga stretch routine for flexibility and relaxation. Do this yoga practice everyday to help you feel good and calm your mind. We move and stretch the whole body in all floor poses (no standing poses) - backbends, forward folds, side stretches, and twists. There is an open-ended Savasana with a few minutes of relaxing background music. You may stay as long as you like. TIP: turn off autoplay so you don't get disturbed by the next video. Enjoy your practice!
