I began watching "I Love Lucy" when I was two years old. Now in my 20s, I have a lot of information to share about my favorite show! I also have videos about "The Dick Van Dyke Show," classic movie reviews, and Old Hollywood stars tributes. I'm having conversations with you in my videos. Please join me as we celebrate our favorite shows and movies!

Our sweet Betty White…What could I possibly say to describe how we all feel? It doesn’t seem real. We all love Betty White. She was universally loved. It takes a special person to be beloved by so many people, but that’s Betty. She was kind to both people and animals. She was everyone’s friend. She was our beautiful rose…A legend in every way.
Whether you know Betty as Sue Ann Nivens from “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” Rose Nylund from “The Golden Girls,” Elizabeth form “Life with Elizabeth,” Vickie Angel from “Date with the Angels,” Ellen Harper from “Mama’s Family,” Elka Ostrovsky from “Hot in Cleveland,” her work on game shows (a game show queen), or her work in movies, you KNOW Betty. She has left a significant mark in our hearts and in the entertainment history.
We will always love her. We will always remember her. The beautiful thing about art is that while we miss the person, at least we still get to celebrate their work, even when they’re no longer with us. We will still celebrate Betty’s work and what she gave us. We will laugh along and smile. She would want us to smile and hug others. She would want us to be happy.
Let’s eat some cheesecake for Betty. She will be forever missed and loved. Thank you for being our friend, Betty. ❤️
I will be making a tribute video to Betty shortly.

Happy “I Love Lucy” Day! Seventy years ago, on October 15, 1951, Americans were introduced to four special people: Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, and Fred and Ethel Mertz. The first episode, “The Girls Want to Go to a Nightclub,” introduced audiences to the four friends and many of the situations and themes of the show: Marriage, friendship, schemes, payback, and laughter. Lots and lots of laughter.
.
From a young age, I grew up watching and loving the show. I laughed along to the timeless comedy. When I was in high school, I became more interested in learning about the behind-the-scenes production facts concerning the show. The innovations in “I Love Lucy” brought lasting changes to the television industry.
.
Now, 70 years later, the sitcom's legacy persists. More and more fans are being introduced to the comedy, the characters, the entertaining situations, and the clever, creative writing. Fans bond together over their love for the show. Lucy, Ricky, Fred, and Ethel are relatable characters that feel like friends. When I'm watching “I Love Lucy,” I'm watching my friends and neighbors. The characters are always there for me.
.
Laughter is the best medicine and “I Love Lucy” is the perfect medicine. It has made millions of audiences laugh for 70 years, and I am confident this will never change. “I Love Lucy” is forever a part of history...and our hearts. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
.
Happy 70th anniversary to a show that has meant so much to me. If you haven’t already watched my tribute video to the show, please do. Cheers to 70 years, and I look forward to many more years of laughter with my friends, the Ricardos and Mertzes…❤️

Happy “Dick Van Dyke Show” Day! Sixty years ago today, on October 3, 1961, America met the Petrie family, Buddy Sorrell, Sally Rogers, and Mel Cooley. They would later also meet Millie and Jerry Helper, Alan Brady, and a collection of hilarious secondary characters and guest stars. Once America met these characters, they haven’t forgotten about them.
For five seasons, the show entertained audiences with its comedy, music, laughter, love, and fun. I can always turn to this show (one of the best shows of all time) as a way to bring comfort and laughter. Whenever I’m upset or need a break, I watch an episode of this show. I know it can always make me smile. I’m very glad this show was created, and I’m even more glad its legacy persists today.
This show is special—really, truly special. From the cast’s impeccable chemistry to the hilarious, clever writing and more, “The Dick Van Dyke Show” remains a classic. The show had a perfect balance, showcasing entertaining physical comedy (mainly from Dick Van Dyke’s Rob Petrie), heartwarming moments between Rob and Laura Petrie, and relatable situations. The characters feel like real people—because they are. They’re your friends, relatives, next door neighbors, colleagues, etc. They are authentic, realistic people, and it is always a joy to watch their hilarious situations. Sixty years later, people are still laughing and loving this show, and that makes me so happy. This show will continued to be celebrated for many years to come.
Happy “Dick Van Dyke Show” Day, everyone! Let’s celebrate our beloved show today. Be sure to watch my tribute video (posted on my channel)! 💙

Ed Asner passed away this morning, August 29, 2021, at 91 years old. Like many of you, I remember Ed best as Lou Grant on “The Mary Tyler More Show” and the spin-off series “Lou Grant.” Lou Grant is a gruff, lovable boss that has a special place in my heart since I watched the show as a child. Now as an adult, I know versions of Lou Grant and Ed Asner played the role brilliantly. He won three Primetime Emmy Awards for “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and an additional two Emmys for “Lou Grant,” making him only one of two actors in history to win an Emmy in both the comedy and drama categories for playing the same character. In 1976, Asner received another Emmy for his role as Axel Jordache in “Rich Man, Poor Man.” In 1977, he received another Emmy for his role as Captain Thomas Davies in “Roots.” In total, Asner received seven Primetime Emmy Awards in his career, making him the most awarded male performer in the history of the Primetime Emmy Awards. Wow!
.
Asner played many memorable roles in his career. Whether you know him as Lou Grant, Santa Claus in “Elf,” the voice of Carl in Pixar’s “Up,” and many other cameos and guest star roles in television shows and movies, Asner has made us smile for decades.
.
Ed Asner will be missed by so many people. He has made us smile and he will continue to make us smile whenever we watch his work. The beautiful thing about art is that while we miss the artist, we still get to celebrate their work. It’s what they leave behind for us. Like so many people before him, Ed’s legacy will live on.
.
Lou Grant may have hated Mary Richards’ spunk, but we loved Ed Asner’s spunk. Always and forever.
.
Thank you for the laughs, Ed. 💙

“I'm happy that I have brought laughter because I have been shown by many the value of it in so many lives, in so many ways.” - Lucille Ball
Happy heavenly 110th birthday, Lucille Ball! Born 110 years ago on this day (August 6) in 1911, in Jamestown, New York, Lucy grew up to be one of the most iconic women of all time. I truly admire everything about Lucy. I love her spark, her humbleness, her comedy, her brilliance, her leadership skills, her beauty...The list could go on and on. While I know she was a flawed human being (we all are), I admire her strength and passion to overcome everything.
I have been watching “I Love Lucy” since I was two years old, but it wasn’t until I was 16 years old when I began to learn more about Lucille Ball. I’ve always loved Lucy Ricardo, bless her heart, but when I was 16, I began to consider Lucille Ball as a different person—because she was different than Lucy Ricardo.
Lucille Ball continually inspires me to dream big. She motivates me and she always brightens my day, no matter what. I never stop learning something new about her, and I love that. She’s an incredibly fascinating woman to study.
So, today, I’m celebrating her. Let’s celebrate Lucy together. I have a special tribute video coming today and I hope you’ll enjoy it. This year’s birthday is extra special, so let’s love Lucy together! 💕

REMINDER: Tonight is the night! “The Dick Van Dyke Show - Now In Living Color” special airs tonight at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. The special will feature “Baby Fat” and “The Bottom of Mel Cooley’s Heart.” This is the first time these episodes have ever been colorized, so this is really special. I love these episodes and I’m looking forward to watching them tonight! The colorization looks great. Be sure to tune in tonight and if you’re on Twitter, I’ll be live-tweeting on my DVDS Twitter page (@DVDSFans). Let’s have some fun tonight!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Good news, Lucy friends! You can now stream episodes of “I Love Lucy” on the brand-new streaming service, Paramount Plus. Essentially an extension of CBS All Access, the streaming service has so many shows (both old and new), including the best TV sitcom of all time (well, at least in my opinion). If you’re looking for another way to watch “I Love Lucy” while the show isn’t on Hallmark Channel or MeTV, consider trying Paramount Plus! Unfortunately, like Hulu, it doesn’t have every episode on the service, but it’s still a good way to watch the show!

Happy heavenly birthday, Desi Arnaz! He was born on March 2, 1917, in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. Desi was truly one of the smartest men in the industry. If he didn’t know how to do something, he was determined to learn about it. He was a hard worker with Desilu Studios and that passion helped make “I Love Lucy” what it was and forever will be—an iconic television show.
.
Desi was a musician and performer; a husband and father; a business man; a friend; and, an inspirational figure in history, especially Cuban history. To many people, he’s Ricky Ricardo, but to us, he’s the delightful Desi. His legacy is still demonstrated in several ways today and we will never forget him. Let’s celebrate Desi today. Happy birthday, Desi! 💙
I uploaded a video compilation of Ricky Ricardo’s best moments on “I Love Lucy.” Be sure to watch it before CBS might take it down! I’m going to reupload the video about Fred Mertz from last week sometime soon. I’m disappointed it was removed, but I’ll try to work around it.

Today is an important day in the “I Love Lucy” community because it’s William Frawley’s birthday! He was born on this day (February 26) in 1887 in Burlington, Iowa. He loved performing from a very young age and he started his career as a talented vaudeville performer. When he first heard about “I Love Lucy,” he phoned Lucille Ball and asked to be on the show. Some things had to be worked out (including Bill’s alcoholic behavior), but thank goodness he got the part because I just can’t imagine “I Love Lucy” without William Frawley as Fred Mertz. He was perfect for the part. What’s your favorite thing about Bill Frawley and/or Fred Mertz? Let’s celebrate Bill today! 💙 I’ll be posting a special video about Fred Mertz later today!
