Our sweet Betty White…What could I possibly say to describe how we all feel? It doesn’t seem real. We all love Betty White. She was universally loved. It takes a special person to be beloved by so many people, but that’s Betty. She was kind to both people and animals. She was everyone’s friend. She was our beautiful rose…A legend in every way.
Whether you know Betty as Sue Ann Nivens from “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” Rose Nylund from “The Golden Girls,” Elizabeth form “Life with Elizabeth,” Vickie Angel from “Date with the Angels,” Ellen Harper from “Mama’s Family,” Elka Ostrovsky from “Hot in Cleveland,” her work on game shows (a game show queen), or her work in movies, you KNOW Betty. She has left a significant mark in our hearts and in the entertainment history.
We will always love her. We will always remember her. The beautiful thing about art is that while we miss the person, at least we still get to celebrate their work, even when they’re no longer with us. We will still celebrate Betty’s work and what she gave us. We will laugh along and smile. She would want us to smile and hug others. She would want us to be happy.
