I stand behind everything I said in this video about how the popular AI music generation services out there are unethical, not fair use, and not comparable to actual music creation. But I might not have been harsh enough on generative AI in general, in the wake of Sora2 coming out. There is no good reason for deepfake generation as high-fidelity as Sora2 to exist in the hands of the public. No good can come of it. This is all being rushed out with no regard for safety, privacy, or intellectual property. It sucks and the people pushing it are trying to line their pockets, societal consequences be damned. Don't stand for it. If you see people boosting AI video or making it, call them out. We might not be able to stop the companies making this stuff but we can make it socially unacceptable when we see people using it.

Hey all, first EDM style music in a long time today, and it's a chiptune! It's actually a demake of a full track I finished earlier this year, which will be on my next album. Yes, after 6 years, I'm finally working on another electronic album. I wish there were more hours in a day to write music AND do all the other things I want to do; if you've been following my other projects, you know I'm running Impact Soundworks, AND Impact Gameworks where we published our first PC/Switch game in 2018. Plus, I have a kid! But the inspiration is coming back... so let this be a teaser for more things to come :)
