I stand behind everything I said in this video about how the popular AI music generation services out there are unethical, not fair use, and not comparable to actual music creation. But I might not have been harsh enough on generative AI in general, in the wake of Sora2 coming out. There is no good reason for deepfake generation as high-fidelity as Sora2 to exist in the hands of the public. No good can come of it. This is all being rushed out with no regard for safety, privacy, or intellectual property. It sucks and the people pushing it are trying to line their pockets, societal consequences be damned. Don't stand for it. If you see people boosting AI video or making it, call them out.
