hi! 👋 i have a ⚠️ VERY ⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️ announcement to make regarding the future of emdasche!!!! 🤯🤯🤯

today, i felt a sudden urge to be honest about my intentions as an artist going forward. hopefully a community post suffices, i think filming an update video would kill me

anyway. so: my next project is 100% going to be an original vocaloid one and it won't be emdasche related at all. i want to be a fucking vocaloid pop rock star and i wanna make music sustainable someday more than anything and i know i can kill this so im gonna go ahead and do that 🤠

i'll make that project easy to find when the time comes through this youtube channel if youre interested in seeing what im up to elsewhere. assuming you enjoyed LOVE/HOPE/DISGUST, my hope is that you might also enjoy what im cooking now.

also, emdasche isn't ending or disappearing so much as it's going on indefinite hiatus while i struggle to get something new to stick the way i want it to or until i give up and go back to school or maybe try a different approach. keeping up emdasche as i am now with my current level of intensity feels futile, frustrating, demoralizing, and ultimately, silly. i can always come back to it at a later date if my ambitions fall through. i hope you can understand.

please continue to listen to emdasche works if you're so inclined, it's like half my income and definitely the only reason i can continue my artistic delusions at the ripe and vague age of "almost thirty" upcoming in two days. i am immeasurably grateful for the support always always always. without emdasche i never would have discovered that i give as much of a shit about music as i apparently do. thanks for encouraging me to keep creating it gives me purpose like nothing else 💛

hiii, in case you missed it (and you probably did), i released a new album just a couple days ago!!

for some reason the album stream is receiving even less traffic than any of the individual singles which is pretty sad because those singles didn't exactly do so great either but cmonnnnn it's 25 minutes of pretty sweet musicccc i promise there's something in there for you. yes, YOU!!!!!!!!! the hot girl smoking alarming amounts of cigarettes in her purple room reading this

if you're scared that it says Lo-Fi in the title: don't be! half of it is probably more like, some sort of Hip-Hop . . . synth . . . ambient . . . thing. there's even a whole acoustic guitar ballad in here. it's good you'll like it

Yesterday's Journey: A Pokémon Lo-Fi Hip Hop Arrangement Album was supposed to come out tomorrow buttttt unfortunately it's in processing hell for streaming and stores sooooo if you all dont mind i'm gonna hold off until it releases on those platforms . . . whenever that is :) hopefully soon enough!

i'll probably schedule an album stream premiere for the day after that it magically drops on such platforms (since idk when it'll come out now) to give some notice if you wanna stop by for that. (you should it'll be a fun time!)

in just two weeks, LOVE/HOPE/DISGUST's album stream reached 20k views and 2k likes :3 it's so nice to see that kind of reception for a project i worked so hard on, i really didn't expect it . . . <3

i'm going to start releasing the individual tracks from the album this saturday! probably one a day or something. apologize for the delay, when i've sat to my computer lately it's been to work on my next album project lol.

the next project will be a melancholic pokemon lofi album! i want to make something simpler and quicker before i tackle something more involved again. truthfully, i've been scrambling trying to find ways to raise emdasche from the dead, so bear with me while i keep trying different ideas. hopefully i can get a couple to stick! :P anyway, this next project shouldn't take long to complete--please expect it in october sometime.

ok, so! the august 17th release date isn't happening. i apologize. couldn't decide on the mixes teehee :)

anyway, i sent LOVE/HOPE/DISGUST off for the last time and threw my computer into the sea so i can't access the masters anymore. hurray!

the new release date is friday august 23rd, 2PM EST 🤩
