today, i felt a sudden urge to be honest about my intentions as an artist going forward. hopefully a community post suffices, i think filming an update video would kill me
anyway. so: my next project is 100% going to be an original vocaloid one and it won't be emdasche related at all. i want to be a fucking vocaloid pop rock star and i wanna make music sustainable someday more than anything and i know i can kill this so im gonna go ahead and do that 🤠
i'll make that project easy to find when the time comes through this youtube channel if youre interested in seeing what im up to elsewhere. assuming you enjoyed LOVE/HOPE/DISGUST, my hope is that you might also enjoy what im cooking now.
also, emdasche isn't ending or disappearing so much as it's going on indefinite hiatus while i struggle to get something new to stick the way i want it to or until i give up and go back to school or maybe try a different approach. keeping up emdasche as i am now with my current level of intensity feels futile, frustrating, demoralizing, and ultimately, silly. i can always come back to it at a later date if my ambitions fall through. i hope you can understand.
please continue to listen to emdasche works if you're so inclined, it's like half my income and definitely the only reason i can continue my artistic delusions at the ripe and vague age of "almost thirty" upcoming in two days. i am immeasurably grateful for the support always always always. without emdasche i never would have discovered that i give as much of a shit about music as i apparently do. thanks for encouraging me to keep creating it gives me purpose like nothing else 💛
