A light that guided me, now lost in the snow
My heart remembers the love we shared
A longing that remains, though you're no longer there

In dreams, I see your lovely face
A fleeting glimpse of a love that's lost its place
I reach for you, but you're not near
Leaving me with tears, and a heart that's sore

Yet, even in grief, my love remains
A flame that burns, though you're no longer in my arms to sustain

Shivai Miraculous

*The Forbidden Discovery*

Hours had passed since the boys entered the cave, their journey a mix of uncertainty and cautious hope. The deeper they went, the more the cave seemed to guide them, as if pushing them toward a destination they didn’t fully understand.

At one point, the tunnel sloped sharply downward. The ground beneath them was damp and smooth, and before they could react—

*"Whoa—!"*

Darik lost his footing, sliding forward at an alarming speed. Sunil and Nobin barely had time to gasp before they too were swept off their feet, sliding uncontrollably down the sloping passage.

They tumbled through the darkness, their bodies hitting the walls of the tunnel as they picked up speed. The air rushed past them, and before they could even scream, the tunnel suddenly opened up—

And they fell.

With a *thud* and a cloud of dust, they landed on the ground below, groaning as they scrambled to their feet, brushing dirt and debris off their clothes.

*"Okay… what was that?"* Darik muttered, rubbing his sore back.

Sunil coughed, shaking the dust out of his hair. *"That… was terrifying."*

Nobin, however, wasn’t listening. He had already lifted his head, his gaze locked on something in front of them. His mouth fell slightly open as his breath hitched in his throat.

*"No way…"* he whispered.

Sunil noticed his expression and frowned. *"Nobin? What’s wrong?"*

When Nobin didn’t answer, Darik followed his gaze—then froze.

*"Oh… my…"*

Sunil turned as well. And then, he saw it.

Towering before them, bathed in the dim orange glow of the setting sun, stood an ancient structure so massive and so magnificent that it seemed almost unreal.

The *temple*.

It was old—ancient, even—its stone walls covered in vines and moss, its carvings weathered by time. The architecture was unlike anything they had ever seen, intricate and hauntingly beautiful.

The three of them stood in stunned silence, their exhaustion momentarily forgotten.

*"We… we actually found it,"* Sunil finally breathed.

Darik let out a low whistle. *"I knew we were onto something… but I didn’t think we’d actually make it this far."*

Nobin took a step forward, his eyes fixed on the temple. *"It’s incredible. This could be the biggest discovery in… who knows how long?"*

Sunil nodded slowly, but then his expression darkened. *"Wait. Something’s off."*

The others turned to him.

*"Look around,"* Sunil said, gesturing toward the ground surrounding the temple.

For the first time, they noticed it—

The temple was *completely surrounded by water*.

A vast moat stretched around it, its dark surface perfectly still. But something about it sent a shiver down their spines. The water wasn’t normal—it was eerily deep, almost black, with no sign of life. No fish. No ripples. Nothing.

*"That’s… strange,"* Darik murmured. *"It’s like the water’s dead."*

Nobin frowned, flipping through the book. *"There’s nothing in here about a moat around the temple."*

Sunil took a cautious step closer, peering into the water. The closer he got, the stronger his unease grew.

*"This isn’t just water,"* he muttered. *"There’s something in there. Something we *don’t* want to disturb."*

Darik exhaled. *"Okay, so swimming across is out of the question."*

Nobin nodded. *"Yeah… and we definitely don’t want to take any chances with this water."*

They stood in silence for a moment, then Sunil clapped his hands together. *"Alright. We’re not giving up now. We just need to find another way in."*

Darik smirked. *"That’s the spirit. No way we came all this way just to turn back now."*

Nobin looked between them and sighed. *"I feel like we’re making another huge mistake."*

Sunil grinned. *"Maybe. But mistakes make the best stories."*

Nobin shook his head, but a small smile played on his lips. *"Fine. Let’s figure this out."*

*The Search for Another Way In*

They spread out, searching the perimeter for anything that could serve as a bridge or passageway.

*"There has to be something,"* Sunil muttered as he scanned the dense foliage.

*"Maybe there’s a hidden bridge,"* Nobin suggested. *"A temple this ancient would have more than one entrance, right?"*

Darik, meanwhile, was crouched near the water’s edge, throwing small pebbles into the moat. Each one sank without a trace.

*"This water is weirdly thick,"* he muttered.

Sunil shot him a warning look. *"Stop doing that. What if something *is* in there?"*

Darik sighed. *"Relax, nothing’s gonna—"*

Before he could finish, something moved beneath the water.

A ripple.

Small, barely noticeable.

But it was *there*.

Darik froze.

Nobin’s voice came out in a whisper. *"Tell me you saw that."*

Sunil swallowed hard. *"Yeah. We need to move. *Now.*"*

They backed away from the water, their senses on high alert.

*"Alright,"* Darik said, voice lower now. *"So… let’s *definitely* find another way in."*

Nobin flipped through the book once more, his fingers tracing a passage they had previously overlooked.

*"It says… ‘Where the shadows never fall, the way is revealed. The golden path lies not above, but beneath.’"*

Sunil frowned. *"What does that mean?"*

Darik’s eyes widened. *"Wait. Does that mean there's a tunnel leading *under* the water?"*

Nobin hesitated, then nodded. *"It could. The temple was built to remain hidden—what if the real entrance isn’t through the front, but underground?"*

Sunil exhaled sharply. *"Great. Just what we need—more tunnels."*

Darik smirked. *"Hey, at least this one might actually get us *inside* the temple."*

They exchanged glances. They were exhausted, covered in dust, and completely cut off from the outside world.

And yet, none of them wanted to turn back.

They had already made two mistakes—first, entering the forest without studying the book properly, and second, choosing to explore the temple instead of looking for an escape.

And now, they were about to make their third.

*"Alright,"* Sunil said. *"Let’s find that tunnel."*

With renewed determination, they continued their search, knowing that whatever they found next could change everything.

*Into the Depths of the Unknown*

As the first rays of sunlight pierced through the thick canopy, the boys woke up, stretching their stiff limbs after a restless night. The weight of their situation settled in once again—they were lost, deep in a mysterious forest that seemed determined to keep them trapped.

Despite the fear lingering in the back of their minds, they had one goal: to either find their way back or uncover the hidden temple.

Sunil rubbed his eyes and sighed. *"Alright, first things first—we need to check the book again. Maybe we missed something that could help us."*

Nobin, already digging into his bag, pulled out the old book. *"We definitely did. Last time, we only focused on the landmarks we had already seen—the twisted tree, the whispering stones, and the silent river. But there was a lot more written here that we didn’t pay attention to."*

Darik, taking a bite of a dry biscuit from his bag, scooted closer. *"Yeah… we got too excited and ignored the details. Let’s not make that mistake again."*

Nobin flipped through the worn pages, his eyes scanning the faded ink. Then, he stopped and read aloud :

*"The seekers who follow the first path shall face the greatest trial. The forest bends to protect what lies beyond. Only those who see beyond the obvious shall find the way."*

Sunil frowned. *"‘The first path’? What does that mean?"*

Darik groaned, running a hand through his messy hair. *"Great. That probably means the road we took was the worst choice. No wonder we’re stuck."*

Nobin nodded. *"Yeah, it says here that the direct path to the temple is nearly impossible to cross. But look at this…"* He pointed to another passage.

*"The hidden temple reveals itself only to those who follow the forgotten signs—where shadows never fall, where water runs against the wind, and where the earth opens its mouth."*

Sunil raised an eyebrow. *"Earth… opens its mouth? That sounds terrifying."*

Darik leaned forward, intrigued. *"Wait, that could mean a cave or some kind of underground passage!"*

Nobin nodded. *"Exactly. We need to search around us. If we find any of these signs, we might be able to get out of here—or better yet, find the temple."*

*Discovering the Hidden Path*

After finishing a quick meal, they started exploring the area, carefully looking for anything that matched the descriptions in the book. They walked through the thick forest, the morning mist still lingering around them, making the trees look even more eerie.

*"Keep an eye out for anything unusual,"* Sunil reminded them.

Darik smirked. *"You mean besides the fact that this forest literally erased the road we came from?"*

After nearly an hour of searching, Nobin suddenly called out. *"Guys, over here!"*

They rushed to his side and saw what had caught his attention—an opening in the ground, partially hidden by overgrown vines and moss. It looked like a natural tunnel, dark and ominous.

*"The earth opens its mouth,"* Sunil murmured, glancing at Nobin.

Darik grinned, stepping forward. *"Looks like we found our way in. Are we really doing this?"*

Nobin took a deep breath, gripping the book tightly. *"We don’t have a choice. If this really leads to the temple, we might find another way out from there."*

Sunil hesitated for a moment, then nodded. *"Alright. But we stick together, and if it gets too dangerous, we turn back."*

With that, they took their first steps into the underground passage.

*The Cave of Many Paths*

The tunnel led them deeper into the forest, twisting and turning until they finally emerged into a hidden valley surrounded by towering cliffs. In front of them was a massive cave entrance, its gaping maw looking like something out of a legend.

Sunil shivered. *"Well… this definitely fits the description of something that wants to eat us."*

Darik chuckled. *"Come on, scaredy-cat. Let’s check it out."*

With cautious steps, they entered the cave. The air inside was cool and damp, and their footsteps echoed against the stone walls. After walking for a few minutes, they reached a large chamber where multiple tunnels branched off in different directions.

*"Great,"* Darik muttered. *"Now what? Which one do we take?"*

Nobin immediately opened the book again, flipping through the pages. He stopped at a section that described the cave.

*"The labyrinth of paths is treacherous. Only one leads to the temple; the others lead to endless darkness or worse. To find the right path, seek the sign of the lost ones—where the old words still speak."*

Sunil’s face paled. *"‘Endless darkness or worse’? I don’t like the sound of that."*

Darik rolled his eyes. *"Relax. We just need to find whatever ‘the lost ones’ means. Maybe some old carvings or writings."*

They carefully examined the walls of the cave, shining their flashlights along the rocky surface. After a few minutes, Nobin gasped.

*"Here! Look at this!"*

Carved into the stone above one of the tunnels were ancient symbols, partially worn away but still visible. It looked like some kind of warning, but next to it, a single arrow was etched into the rock, pointing into the tunnel.

*"That has to be it,"* Nobin said.

Sunil swallowed hard. *"And what if it’s not? What if we’re walking straight into something dangerous?"*

Darik exhaled. *"That’s a risk we have to take. The book says there’s no way back except through the temple. We either go forward… or we stay lost forever."*

Silence filled the cave as the reality of their situation settled in.

Then, Nobin took a deep breath and stepped forward. *"Let’s go."*

One by one, they followed the ancient markings into the unknown.

*Lost in the Depths*

The excitement of discovery had blinded them.

As they stepped through the three massive trees marking the entrance, the path ahead was thin, winding deeper into the ancient forest. Towering trees loomed over them, their massive trunks covered in moss, their branches twisting in eerie shapes under the dim moonlight. But the thrill of adventure overpowered any fear—they had come too far to turn back now.

For two hours, they followed the path, pushing through thick undergrowth, stepping over roots that snaked across the forest floor like veins of the earth itself. The air grew colder, heavier. The only sounds were their own footsteps and the occasional rustle in the darkness.

Then, suddenly… the path was gone.

They stopped in their tracks. Around them, only massive trees stood, their shadows stretching endlessly in every direction. There was no temple. No further trail. And when they turned to retrace their steps—

The road they had come from had disappeared.

A cold realization settled over them. The stories were true. The forest didn’t just hide the temple—it *trapped* those who sought it.

*Blame and Desperation*

*"This is your fault!"* Sunil snapped, turning to Darik. *"You’re the one who insisted we come here!"*

Darik threw up his hands. *"Oh, so now it’s my fault? Who showed us that book, huh? If Nobin hadn’t brought it, we wouldn’t even know about this stupid temple!"*

Nobin glared at both of them. *"Really? If Sunil had actually warned us the moment things felt risky, we wouldn’t be stuck here in the first place!"*

The argument flared, voices rising in frustration. But no matter how much they blamed each other, it didn’t change the fact—they were lost.

Darik was the first to take a deep breath and calm down. *"Look, fighting isn’t going to get us out of here. We need to focus. We can’t keep walking blindly at night. It’s too dangerous. We should rest and figure things out in the morning."*

Sunil exhaled sharply, forcing himself to nod. *"Fine. But we can’t all sleep. One of us has to stay awake in case of… well, anything."*

*"I’ll do it,"* Darik offered.

Nobin shook his head. *"No, we take turns. Two sleep while one stays up. We’ll rotate every two hours."*

They agreed, setting up a small camp under the thick canopy, the forest pressing in around them like a silent, watchful presence.

*A Desperate Search*

Back at the base camp, Sunil’s father stirred from his sleep, stretching as he stepped out of his tent. The fire had dimmed to glowing embers. He glanced around, expecting to see the boys somewhere nearby.

But they weren’t there.

Frowning, he called out. *"Sunil? Darik? Nobin?"*

Silence.

He tried again, louder this time. Still no answer. His stomach twisted with unease. He searched the nearby area, checking behind the tents, looking toward the trees. Nothing.

Then, he noticed something—their bags were missing.

Panic surged through him. His breath quickened. He didn’t need to think twice—he knew exactly where they had gone.

*"No… they wouldn’t,"* he muttered. But deep down, he knew they would.

They had gone after the temple.

Without wasting another second, he grabbed a flashlight and ran into the forest. His only thought was reaching to the base camp for seeking help before it was too late.

The jungle was unforgiving. He stumbled over roots, tripped on rocks, crashed into branches. Thorns tore at his clothes, his skin. The darkness felt endless, the trees stretching taller, closing in around him. His lungs burned, his legs screamed for rest, but he didn’t stop.

By the time he reached the base camp where they had first arrived—hours before dawn—he was barely standing.

*"Help… someone help!"* he shouted, his voice breaking from exhaustion.

The tourists and local guides jolted awake, rushing toward him. He staggered a few more steps before collapsing to the ground.

The crowd gathered around him in shock. Some tried to wake him, while others murmured among themselves.

*"What happened to him?"*

*"Why was he running from that forest?"*

*"No one goes that deep in… what was he thinking?"*

Among them, the old guide—the same man who had warned them—stood silently, watching the unconscious man on the ground.

Slowly, he shook his head.

*"I warned them,"* he murmured to himself. *"But they didn’t listen. Now… they must face whatever awaits them."*

As the villagers carried Sunil’s father to the hospital, an unsettling question hung in the air—

What had really happened to the boys?

And what *would* happen to them now?

*Following the Clues*

As the three boys poured over the pages of the old book, Nobin's fingers traced a passage written in faded ink.

*"The entrance remains hidden, but the path reveals itself to those who follow the markers—the twisted tree, the whispering stones, and the river that flows in silence. Only those who walk with patience will reach the temple’s veil."*

Sunil frowned. *"Twisted tree? Whispering stones? What does that even mean?"*

Darik, leaning over, suddenly sat up straight. *"Wait—do you guys remember that weird tree we passed on the second day? The one with its trunk spiraling like a rope?"*

Nobin’s eyes widened. *"Yes! That could be the first marker!"*

Sunil nodded slowly. *"And ‘whispering stones’? Maybe that refers to those rocks we saw near the waterfall—the ones that made a strange humming sound when the wind passed through them."*

Darik smirked, excitement flashing in his eyes. *"And the ‘river that flows in silence’… that has to be the narrow stream we crossed earlier. It was weirdly quiet, no sound of running water at all."*

The realization sent a thrill through them. The clues weren’t just old myths—they had *seen* these landmarks during their adventure.

*"This is it,"* Nobin said in awe. *"The book was right."*

*The Dilemma*

Sunil leaned back, rubbing his temples. *"We should tell my dad. If we’ve figured out the path, he deserves to know."*

Darik groaned. *"Come on, Sunil. You really think he’ll just let us go off searching for some forgotten temple? He’ll say it’s too dangerous and shut the whole thing down."*

Nobin hesitated. *"Darik has a point. If your dad finds out, we might never get the chance to explore this."*

Sunil exhaled sharply, conflicted. He hated sneaking around, but he also couldn’t deny how thrilling this discovery was.

*"Alright,"* he said finally. *"But we take zero risks. We follow the path, find the temple—if it even exists—and then we head straight back. Agreed?"*

Darik clapped him on the shoulder. *"Agreed. No unnecessary danger. Just history in the making."*

Nobin nodded. *"Let’s do it."*

*The Secret Journey Begins*

As the camp remained quiet, with Sunil’s father fast asleep in his tent, the three boys grabbed their bags, stuffed in some supplies, and set off into the night.

The forest was different at night—shadows stretched across the trees, and the usual calls of birds and insects had faded into an eerie stillness. The moonlight guided their steps as they reached their first marker—the *twisted tree*. Its gnarled trunk spiraled upward like a massive wooden serpent.

*"This is it,"* Darik whispered.

From the book’s description, they knew the next marker was the *whispering stones* near the waterfall. They walked carefully, using their flashlights sparingly. When they arrived, the wind passing through the stones created a soft, ghostly hum.

*"That’s creepy,"* Sunil muttered, shivering slightly.

*"That means we’re on the right track,"* Nobin pointed out.

The final marker was the *silent river*. They followed their mental map through the dense jungle until they reached the narrow, almost perfectly still stream.

Darik crouched down, dipping his fingers into the water. *"It’s flowing… but there’s no sound."*

Sunil exhaled, looking around. *"So… where’s the temple?"*

Nobin flipped back through the book, reading the next passage. *"‘Beyond the river, where the three trunks meet, lies the hidden path.’"*

Darik turned, scanning the area—and then he saw it.

Three massive trees stood together, their trunks touching at the base, forming a natural gateway. And just beyond them, hidden in the undergrowth, was a faint but unmistakable path leading deeper into the forest.

*"There,"* he whispered, pointing.

The three of them exchanged glances.

They had found the entrance.

Heart pounding with excitement and uncertainty, they stepped forward, vanishing into the darkness beyond.

*Lost in Adventure*

As the guide walked away, Sunil’s father turned to the boys with a reassuring smile.

*"Relax, boys. We’re not here for the temple. This trip is about enjoying the beauty of the forest,"* he said, stretching his arms.

The boys nodded, though Nobin couldn’t shake the guide’s words from his mind. Still, he tucked the old book back into his bag and decided to focus on the adventure ahead.

That night, the camp was filled with the crackling of the fire, the distant hoots of owls, and the rhythmic chirping of crickets. One by one, they drifted into sleep, the forest standing silently around them.

*Seven Days of Wonder*

The next morning, excitement buzzed through the air as they set off into the heart of the wilderness. Their journey was nothing short of breathtaking.

They hiked through deep valleys, where mist clung to the trees like a hidden veil. They explored thick forests, their boots crunching on fallen leaves as sunlight filtered through the towering canopy. They discovered hidden caves, dark and echoing, filled with ancient rock formations. Waterfalls thundered down into crystal-clear pools, mist rising around them like something out of a dream.

*"This place is incredible,"* Darik said one evening as they stood on a high ridge, looking out at the endless stretch of green beneath a sky full of stars.

*"Yeah,"* Sunil agreed, lying back on the cool grass. *"I don’t think I’ve ever felt this far away from the world before."*

Nobin simply smiled, taking it all in. He had never experienced anything like this either, and for the first time, he didn’t feel like an outsider.

Over the days, the boys talked more. At first, their conversations were casual—discussing the best parts of the trip, joking about Sunil’s clumsy moments, and arguing about who had spotted the rarest bird.

*"You seriously think that was an eagle?"* Darik teased one afternoon, crossing his arms.

Sunil groaned. *"It looked like one!"*

*"That was a hawk, man,"* Nobin said with a small chuckle.

Sunil rolled his eyes. *"Fine. But I still saw it first."*

Slowly, the distance between them shrank.

*The Forgotten Clue*

On their final full day in the forest, the group decided to rest before heading back to base camp. Sunil’s father retreated to his tent for an afternoon nap while Sunil and Darik returned from a refreshing swim, their hair dripping and laughter still in their voices.

Nobin, who couldn’t swim, had stayed behind, lounging outside the camp. As he leaned against a tree, his gaze drifted toward his bag—where the old book sat, untouched for days.

And then, as if a switch had flipped in his mind, he remembered.

*The hidden temple*

Heart pounding with sudden excitement, he dug into his bag, pulling out the worn book. He flipped through its yellowed pages, scanning for any mention of a path, a sign—anything that could lead to the temple’s location.

Just then, Sunil and Darik arrived, still toweling off.

*"What’s that?"* Sunil asked, noticing the large, ancient book in Nobin’s hands. *"You had that back at base camp too."*

Nobin looked up, hesitating for only a moment before deciding to tell them everything.

*"This book belonged to my friend’s grandfather,"* he explained. *"He and his team tried to explore the hidden temple years ago. They couldn’t get far, but they recorded everything they could. I’m trying to find something—anything—that can help us locate it."*

Darik’s eyes lit up with excitement. *"Wait… you mean the temple that guy warned us about? The one that’s supposedly impossible to find?"*

Nobin nodded.

Darik grinned, rubbing his hands together. *"Now this is what I call an adventure! We have to try and find it!"*

Sunil hesitated. *"I don’t know… if even experienced explorers couldn’t get inside, what makes you think we can?"*

*"That’s exactly why we should try,"* Darik countered. *"Come on, Sunil. Imagine if we actually found it! It would be the biggest thing we’ve ever done!"*

Sunil glanced between the two of them, torn.

*"And look,"* Nobin added, flipping a few pages. *"If we can figure out what stopped them, maybe we can find a way past it."*

Sunil sighed, but a small, curious smile crept onto his face. *"Alright, fine. But if this place is as dangerous as the guide said, we’re not taking any stupid risks."*

Darik smirked. *"Agreed. No stupid risks… just a little history-making discovery."*

For the first time, the three of them sat together, completely absorbed in the book. They traced the notes, examined the sketches, and pieced together whatever they could.

By the time the sun began to set, one thing was certain.

The hidden temple was real.

And they were going to find it.

*Into the Unknown*

The car rumbled along the winding road, the scenery outside shifting from city streets to open fields and finally to dense forests. The golden light of the setting sun filtered through the trees, casting long shadows over the road.

Inside the car, the atmosphere remained the same—Sunil and Darik chatted on and off, while Nobin mostly kept to himself. Every now and then, he glanced at the old, worn-out book in his bag, the one his friend had given him.

*"How much longer, Dad?"* Sunil finally asked.

His father, focused on the road, smiled. *"Not long now. We’ll reach the base camp before dark. From there, it’s a short trek to the site."*

*"Base camp?"* Sunil asked, raising an eyebrow.

Darik nodded and explained. *"Yes. It’s a remote location, deep in the forest. There’s no direct road to it, so we’ll need to hike a bit. That’s part of the adventure, isn’t it?"*

Hearing this, Nobin perked up slightly. A trek through the forest? That was exactly the kind of adventure he had been hoping for.

As they neared their destination, the road grew bumpier, the trees towering higher. Soon, the car pulled into a small clearing where a few tents and off-road vehicles were parked. A group of people—local guides and a few travelers—were gathered near a bonfire, sharing stories and preparing for the journey ahead.

Sunil’s father got out first. *"Alright, boys, grab your bags. We’ll be staying here tonight and starting the trek at dawn."*

The three of them stepped out, stretching their legs after the long drive. The cool forest air was refreshing, filled with the sounds of rustling leaves and distant animal calls.

As they set up their sleeping arrangements in one of the larger tents, Darik leaned closer to Sunil and whispered, *"This is getting interesting. But I still don’t know about that Nobin guy."*

Sunil shrugged. *"We’ll see. The real adventure starts tomorrow."*

Nobin, who had overheard them, simply smiled to himself. He didn’t need their approval. The only thing that mattered was what lay ahead.

Little did they know, something was already waiting for them in the depths of the forest.

*The First Sign*

That night, as the fire crackled and the group sat around it, sharing stories, one of the local guides, an older man with sharp eyes, spoke up.

*"You boys are heading toward the old ruins, aren’t you?"* he asked, his voice low but firm.

Sunil’s father nodded. *"That’s the plan. We’ve got all the permits, and Darik’s research says it’s a remarkable site."* Darik nodded at them.

The guide frowned slightly. *"Be careful. Many have tried to explore that temple, but none have ever gone too far. Some say the forest itself tries to keep people away."*

A heavy silence settled over the group. The only sound was the crackling of the fire.

Nobin leaned forward, intrigued. *"What do you mean? Has anyone seen anything… strange?"*

The guide met his gaze. *"Some have. Shadows moving where there should be none. Paths that twist and change. And sometimes... whispers in the wind."*

Darik scoffed. *"Come on, that just sounds like campfire horror stories."*

The guide didn’t argue. He simply looked at them and said, *"Believe what you will. But remember—some places do not wish to be found."*

Nobin’s hand tightened around the book in his lap. Something about those words sent a shiver down his spine.

Tomorrow, they would step into the unknown forest for their trip.

And whatever was hidden in that temple… was waiting for them.

*The Journey Begins : Trip To Mystery*

The long-awaited day had finally arrived. Nobin packed his last few things, his heart racing with excitement. Downstairs, his parents were waiting for him. His mother reminded him again to stay safe, while his father smiled proudly.

*"Enjoy the trip, son. It's going to be unforgettable,"* his father said as they headed toward the car.

Meanwhile, at Sunil’s house, the preparations were in full swing. Darik had already arrived, and Sunil’s face lit up when he saw his old friend.

*"Darik! It’s been so long!"* Sunil exclaimed, giving him a playful shove.

Darik grinned. *"Yeah, too long! And guess what? I was the one who picked our adventure spot."*

Sunil's eyes widened in surprise. He had no idea that the person responsible for choosing their trip’s location was none other than his childhood friend. His father had kept it a secret, planning it as a surprise. Now, he was even more thrilled—this trip was going to be special.

As they waited near the car with Sunil’s father, they talked about the years they had spent apart, catching up on school, life, and everything in between. Soon, their conversation turned toward the other person joining them—Nobin.

*"So who is this Nobin guy,"* Darik said, lowering his voice. *"What’s his deal?"*

Sunil shrugged. *"He’s the son of my dad’s friend's company employee. My and his father became friends through business. I’ve never met him before."*

Darik crossed his arms. *"You think he’s going to fit in? I mean…"* He trailed off, glancing around Sunil’s grand house. The unspoken words hung in the air—Nobin wasn’t from the same financial world as them.

Sunil hesitated but didn’t reply. He wasn’t sure either.

Neither of them had met Nobin before, and they were eager to see what he was like.

Just then, Nobin’s father’s car pulled up. Nobin stepped out, adjusting his bag, his eyes widening slightly as he took in the size of Sunil’s home. It was unlike anything he was used to.

Sunil and Darik watched him quietly, unsure of how to start a conversation.

Nobin’s father greeted Sunil’s father before turning to his son. *"Have a great trip. I’ll see you when you get back."*

Nobin nodded.

With that, his father got into his car and drove away, leaving Nobin standing there. He glanced at Sunil and Darik, offering a small smile, but they simply nodded in return.

No warm introductions, no excited chatter—just silence thick with unspoken thoughts.

*The Road to Adventure*

As they got into the car, the seating arrangement formed naturally—Nobin took the window seat, Darik sat in the middle, and Sunil took the other window. Sunil’s father started the engine, and they were off.

The excitement in the air was undeniable, but so was the awkwardness.

Sunil and Darik quickly fell into conversation, talking about their schools, past trips, and plans for the future. Nobin sat quietly, listening but not sure if he should join in. He could tell they were from a different world—one where money flowed easily, where adventures like this were probably routine.

Still, he didn’t mind too much. He wasn’t here to impress them. He was here for the adventure.

As the car sped toward their destination, Nobin stared out the window, a small smile on his face.

No matter what, this was going to be the trip of a lifetime.

Little did they know, it would be far more than just a trip. None of them could imagine what is awaiting there for them.

*The Call of Long Anticipated*

A few days passed, and life continued as usual for Nobin and his family. The aroma of freshly cooked dinner wafted through the air, mingling with the sound of laughter and conversation. Then, one evening, the long-awaited call came. Nobin's father, settled into his favorite armchair, answered the phone with a warm smile.

*"Hello, my friend!"* Sunil's father's voice boomed through the receiver, carrying a hint of excitement. *"I have some great news — Darik has found the perfect place for our trip!"* Nobin's father straightened, his curiosity piqued. The room fell silent, with all eyes on him.

*"Oh? Where is it?"* Nobin's father asked, his voice tinged with anticipation. Sunil's father chuckled, the sound infectious. *"A place like no other—thrilling, mysterious, and full of adventure. Darik put a lot of thought into it, and we all agreed it's the best choice. We also finalized the date—we'll be leaving in just a few days!"* The room erupted into a flurry of excitement, with Nobin's mother asking questions and his father nodding thoughtfully.

*Breaking the News to Nobin*

Later that night, after dinner, Nobin's father called him over to the living room. The soft glow of the lamp cast a warm ambiance, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of freshly brewed coffee. Nobin turned eagerly, his eyes full of expectation.

*"Nobin, I have news for you,"* his father said, a small smile playing on his lips. *"Did they finalize the place?"* Nobin asked, his voice barely above a whisper. His father nodded. *"Yes, Sunil's father just called. His friend's son, Darik, has chosen an incredible location, and we leave in just a few days!"* Nobin's face lit up with excitement, his eyes sparkling like stars in the night sky.

*"That's amazing! Where is it?"* Nobin asked, his curiosity getting the better of him. His father leaned forward slightly, a conspiratorial glint in his eye. *"It's a place surrounded by wilderness, rich with hidden history and adventure. Darik chose it because it has something special—a hidden temple with a great mystery surrounding it."* The room fell silent, with Nobin's imagination running wild.

*Preparing for the Journey*

Over the next few days, Nobin packed his things carefully—his clothes, essentials, and anything he thought might be useful on an adventure. The sound of rustling clothes and zipping bags filled the air, accompanied by the occasional thud of a book or the rattle of a water bottle. As the departure day neared, he spent one evening researching the location on his phone. That's when he found something that made his heart race.

There, buried in an old travel forum, was a mention of the hidden temple—a place spoken about in hushed whispers, shrouded in mystery. Legends said it was nearly impossible to find, and even if someone did, strange forces prevented them from going too far inside. The exact location of the Temple is not in any maps. Nobin's excitement doubled. *"This trip just got even better!"*

*A Mysterious Book*

The next day, he met up with one of his close friends, eager to share what he had discovered. His friend listened intently, his eyes widening with interest, before nodding thoughtfully. *"You know, that reminds me of something. My grandfather actually went to that place when he was young."* Nobin's eyes widened. *"Seriously?! What did he say about it?"* His friend reached into one of his old untouched bags and pulled out an old, worn-out book.

*"This book belonged to my grandfather. He and his teammates explored parts of the temple but never managed to uncover its full secrets. It was as if something stopped them. Whatever they could document, they wrote in here."* Nobin took the book with awe, flipping through its yellowed pages. The faded ink and hand-drawn sketches hinted at something incredible. His friend smiled. *"Take it with you. If you're lucky enough to find the temple, this might help you understand more about what's inside."* Nobin clutched the book tightly. *"Thank you! This could be really important."*

*The Final Countdown*

That night, back at home, Nobin placed the book in his bag without reading too much of it—his mind was already too overwhelmed with anticipation. The trip was just around the corner, and he was more than ready.

Little did he know, this wasn't just going to be an ordinary adventure. What awaited them at that mysterious location would change their lives forever.
