Reseeded Update V2.2 is out now! You can update by just redownloading the mod. First off, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR 6000 DOWNLOADS WHAT THE HECK! I never imagined so many people would be interested in my weird projects, and this means a lot to me, thank you all so much.
Heres the patchnotes:
NEW DIFFICULTY! Big Spender: Plants cost 2x as much, but are 2x as powerful! This is a decently hard mode that challenges your ability to budget sun!
Umbrella Leaf Rework Cost 150 -> 25 Recharge 3s -> 60s Umbrella leaf has been a bit hard to balance, as it is a fairly cut and dry plant, shutting down two zombie types easily. I don't want to give it an ability to bounce back imps from gargs because that simplifies gargs too much, and giving a counter like that would trivialize a level like 5-9 or Gargantuar Group Meet. So this is what I'm trying out, The goal of this rework is to make umbrella leafs feel more valuble, and making losing them a bigger issue than just "oh I need to spend another 150 sun" it will leave you with a dangerous window of vulnerability.
-Fixed giga-gargs being unable to spawn in survivals
-Tweaks to doomsday melon puzzle slot count to make it look nicer
An update for PvZ Reseeded is out! (V2.1) Here are the patchnotes: V2.1 PATCHNOTES
Snow pea: -Chilled duration from 6.5s -> 20s -Almanac updated I understand I made snowpea honestly quite unusable, my goal here with this change is to help strengthen its role as a stalling plant rather than a damage dealer.
Zombotany: -Peashooter zombotany is now worth twice as many wavepoints --What does this mean? it means that Zombotany will be less of a projectile spam mess near the end, with the peashooter zombies still remaining a threat (I don't want the end of this level to just be gatling-pocalypse 0.5)
Slot machine: -Jalapeno zombies are rarer -Lilypad now is an option(replaces sea shroom)
Zomboss: 5-10 zomboss is 20% weaker, the 5-10 fight goes on for far too long and I wish to fix that.
MISC: -redid chomper/marigold plant thumbnails -Fixed autocollect not working as intended
I wanted to clarify something about reseeded, its goal isnt to be a balance patch, if I wanted to do that, I would end up only changing like 4 things tbh lol. The goal of reseeded is to be an experience similar to pvz, while also being a very different and more challenging experience. Theres a higher APM (actions per minute, to name an example is sunflower being weaker on its own but in turn more spammable) and a general more fragility to your defense. You'll have a better experience with playing this mod if you don't expect gameplay to be close to vanilla, and more like a new campaign.
