“I like them so much they sang at my wedding” – Aled Jones

The sounds of Libera enchant audiences across the world. The boys' distinctive white robes recall Libera's traditional origins, yet their music reaches across the generations to a wide audience. The unique sound of Libera is impossible to pigeonhole, but it appeals to fans worldwide.

The singers of Libera are aged seven to sixteen. They attend many schools in South London. They are boys and they sing, but they do not think of themselves as choirboys rather an alternative kind of boy band.

Libera albums soar high in the charts in the UK, USA and Japan, with hundreds of millions Youtube views, and millions more plays on streaming platforms.

Libera have travelled the world and sung to millions. But, as one boy said, “The travelling and filming is fun but even if we didn’t go anywhere I’d still want to do it because I just love singing.”

Libera was formerly known as the St Philip's Boys Choir.
