“I like them so much they sang at my wedding” – Aled Jones
The sounds of Libera enchant audiences across the world. The boys' distinctive white robes recall Libera's traditional origins, yet their music reaches across the generations to a wide audience. The unique sound of Libera is impossible to pigeonhole, but it appeals to fans worldwide.
The singers of Libera are aged seven to sixteen. They attend many schools in South London. They are boys and they sing, but they do not think of themselves as choirboys rather an alternative kind of boy band.
Libera albums soar high in the charts in the UK, USA and Japan, with hundreds of millions Youtube views, and millions more plays on streaming platforms.
Libera have travelled the world and sung to millions. But, as one boy said, “The travelling and filming is fun but even if we didn’t go anywhere I’d still want to do it because I just love singing.”
Libera was formerly known as the St Philip's Boys Choir.

We hope you're looking forward to our upcoming compilation album, Wonder. Unfortunately, we've had to move the release date back to 28th November, but we hope you don't mind too much!
We put this album together as a way for people to discover Libera for the first time, and we know some of you are very excited to introduce your favourite songs to friends and loved ones. Hopefully they won't mind waiting just a little bit longer for that Libera sound. Who's excited to hear our brand new recording of Panis Angelicus? ✨

Wow, we are still processing the incredible fun we had performing for you all on our Asian tour in the Philippines and Indonesia!
We would like to send an enormous thank you to everyone who came to see us, the venues, our sponsors and promoters, and, of course, The Resonanz Children's Choir, who joined us in Jakarta for a truly unforgettable collaboration. Together we embodied the beauty of connection, the joy of friendship, and the shared language of music! 🎊

What else did we get up to in Barcelona? Well, we visited the really cool Gothic quarter of the city, did some essential shopping (friendship bracelets, key rings and puzzles) and we were allowed to buy our own lunches at a gigantic market. We can't believe it's almost over 🥗

Part five of our Summer Tour takes us to Barcelona! An early morning, a 1,000th birthday (!), a funicular railway ride, and some beach polo were all part of the fun. We even saw the Sagrada Família, which looks like a like a giant Lego project that went a bit out of control 🎊

Next up on the Summer Tour was our third concert in Ireland, this time at a brand-new venue especially built for choirs, called The Lark. We managed to cram in some beach time (with skimming stones) and a barbecue before the performance! Next stop … Barcelona! 🌞

This summer, Libera went to Ireland, and here's what happened! Part one of our Summer Tour Diary features an in-flight water drama, a playground takeover, some prison time (not really), the Titanic museum, traditional Irish food (😬), and, of course, our first concert in Cobh at St Colman's Cathedral.
