Nicole Pearce Movement

Hi! I'm Nicole. I’m a STOTT trained Pilates Instructor, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and a Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. I've been teaching since 2013. In addition to these certs, I'm certified in Lagree Fitness, Spinning, and Indo-Row.

There is a ton of class variety to be found on this channel, but my primary focus is Pilates, mobility, and functional strength. All workouts have an emphasis on proper form. Let's support our bodies by focusing on functional, purposeful movements.

Looking forward to moving together!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend! For those who like following along with the Movement Calendars, the next one is up here: www.nicolepearce.com/28-day-movement-calendars/

Like last month, it's a mix of new-new classes, new-to-YouTube classes (from the Patreon archives), and older YouTube classes. FYI the PDF version is clickable, but the links to new classes won't work until their scheduled release date.

Thank you all for the continued support. Cheers to another month of working out together! šŸ¤—

Hi friends! I've gotten lots of requests recently for a deep core class, so wanted to release this one from the private archives. It focuses on diaphragmatic breathing and connecting to our deep core/pelvic floor using a long resistance band. It's postpartum and diastasis reci safe, but pay attention to any doming that may happen during the portion where both feet are off the ground. If you notice doming there, go back to having one foot planted. I mention this in the video so you'll know which sequence I'm referring to. :)

Hope it's helpful! (Also enjoy a laugh at Pickles in this one — she had to wear a makeshift cone around her neck that week so was looking extra stylish lol)

Hope you all are enjoying the weekend!

First and foremost, the biggest THANK YOU for all the support you've shown me in January. Every super thanks, share, and social media tag has meant so much to me. I have a long way to go in growing my channel into a viable business, but this month has left me feeling confident and excited — moving in the right direction! :)

For those who enjoyed following along with the Movement Calendar, the next 28 days are available on my website: www.nicolepearce.com/28-day-movement-calendars/

There are slight format changes (we'll alternate odd and even calendars to keep things fresh), but same general idea.

In January, I shared a video daily, and that corresponded to the class on the Movement Calendar. Moving forward, the calendars are going to be a mix of new classes and archive classes. That means the calendar workout may not be the video I post to YouTube that day, but rest assured that all new classes are incorporated into the calendar at some point. You won't miss out!

I'll still be sharing lots of new classes through February! Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays you can expect a new workout. I also have an Intro to Pilates series that will be ready to share by the end of February. This series will be a mix of mini classes focused on particular aspects of Pilates and beginner Pilates workouts that put these aspects together. Sooo excited to finish working on this so that I can share it with you all! I think it'll be really helpful for anyone new(er) to Pilates, or anyone just looking to dive deeper into their existing Pilates practice.

As always, let me know if you have any questions or class requests. I appreciate all your support and am excited for another month of working out together!

Hi friends!

As mentioned in the video I shared last week, I'll be sharing a new class almost every day in January (woohoo!). Here's what to expect:

Mondays = Pilates/Pilates-based total body class
Tuesdays = Lower body focused class
Wednesdays = Upper body/core focused class
Thursdays = Cardio/HIIT class
Fridays = Mobility (active recovery)
Saturdays = Total body workout
Sundays = Rest

There will be a lot of variety, but the classes are all working towards the goal of a functionally strong body that moves efficiently through the activities you love and feels good while doing so!

Class for the day will go live at midnight. If you'd like a clickable PDF version of the the calendar, you can get that here: www.nicolepearce.com/28-day-movement-calendars/

***The dates become clickable as the videos are published, so if you try to click to future dates, they won't work yet.

Calendars should serve as a guide, providing some structure and motivation — but listening to your body always comes first. That means physically (if you need an extra rest day, take it!). It also means mentally. If you notice that missing a day is giving you anxiety or feelings of failure, then I would recommend avoiding calendars. Instead, just pick the classes that interest you most — there will be lots to choose from this month! šŸ¤—

Let me know if you have any questions!

Cheers to 2023!

xo Nicole

P.S. Don't judge my website, I'm still building it! It's currently about as bootleg as it gets lol, but I wanted to have at least the calendar page functional by Jan 1st.
