It’s amazing what can come from something you love. I submitted a few piano pieces for consideration in support of the Annual National Veterans Creative Arts Competition (competing against all VA’s across the nation), and I won. Today, I was featured on the cover of the VA Newsletter.

Never give up on yourself. Just keep going, no matter what, and continue to do what drives you. The rest will take care of itself!

One Hand Piano Man

Never in a million years, did I expect to release a music album. In 2023, I was able to produce two. First, was released on April 28th (For Love) & second was released on Thanksgiving day November 23rd (Mistletoe Melodies).

Very blessed that many listeners around the world decided to listen and even selected my album as number one. It’s crazy to even think about. I know that I’m not the greatest pianist in the world, and yes, I have a disability, but very proud of these accomplishments and couldn’t be more grateful to all that have supported me.

Music is extremely powerful and has helped me in so many ways. It’s a lot of fun to play and keeps me sane. Thank you for allowing me to share my personal music journey with you and look forward to continuing in 2024.

A couple of months ago, I went to the Ed Sheeran concert . While we were there, we had an opportunity to receive a seat upgrade via a text service. A few days ago, I received a message from the number that they’re accepting cover song applications for his new release “Life Goes On”. It’s hard to believe, but my son Brendan just graduated High School. As we celebrate this special moment, it has allowed me to reflect over the past 18 years. I couldn’t be more proud of him, but the reality is he will be going to college in the fall.

As parents, we do everything that we can to ensure our children are setup for success. Eventually, as they seek independence, they will leave the home and test all they have learned.

This song was written and dedicated to Brendan. As we prepare for him to embark on his college journey, I know he will be leaving soon. There is no doubt he will succeed, and for this, I say, “Fly Away”. As you listen, I have shared a video montage of the many special moments we have shared along the way.

Brendan, I am so proud of you. Now it's time to show the world all you have learned. There is no doubt you will do great things. We love you and are always here if you need us. Love you - Mom & Dad. 🤟❤️

One Hand Piano Man

First, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your incredible support in 2022. It’s crazy how fast time passes us, but very grateful for your connections and support.

In 2023, I have decided to change things up a bit. The first half of the year, my time will be committed to finalizing a couple of piano albums. This means, I won’t be posting covers much, but look forward to sharing the work, once complete. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while now, but didn’t have the tools or equipment to complete. Will keep you posted on release dates.

My hopes into the new year is for each and every one of you to prosper. Be safe and surround yourself with people who truly love you. In addition, always remember, there’s nothing you can’t achieve with a little bit of hard work.
