It’s hard to believe, but my son Brendan just graduated High School. As we celebrate this special moment, it has allowed me to reflect over the past 18 years. I couldn’t be more proud of him, but the reality is he will be going to college in the fall.
As parents, we do everything that we can to ensure our children are setup for success. Eventually, as they seek independence, they will leave the home and test all they have learned.
This song was written and dedicated to Brendan. As we prepare for him to embark on his college journey, I know he will be leaving soon.
