Welcome! In this somatic yoga flow, we’ll explore gentle, fluid movements to release tension in your hips, lower back, and sacral region. These somatic exercises help your nervous system unwind so your body can finally soften, open, and feel safe again.

If your hips or lower back feel tight no matter how much you stretch, this somatic yoga flow is for you. In this 30-minute practice, we use slow, intentional movement to retrain the nervous system, release chronic gripping patterns, and bring more circulation and fluidity into the sacral region.

Somatic movement works at a deeper level than traditional stretching by helping your body feel safe enough to actually let go. As you unwind the stabilizers around the pelvis, the larger overworked muscles in the hips and lower back can finally relax. This practice also supports the sacral chakra, promoting creativity, emotional ease, and a deeper connection to your inner flow.

Whether you’re navigating stress, sitting for long hours, or carrying emotional weight, this sequence will help you soften, open, and feel grounded again.
