September energy hits different when you're in your healing era ✨
Everyone's talking about 'back to school' but what about 'back to YOURSELF'?
This month I'm focusing on:
📚 Learning to trust my intuition completely
🍂 Releasing what no longer serves me
💪 Choosing myself every single day
🌟 Building something beautiful from my story

The Art of Onward

I know how much I just wanted to rush through all the pain, the often confusing process of healing.
(2-3 therapy appts a week for a while there)

I just wanted to feel whole (we are always whole, but it didn’t FEEL like I was) and normal again.
I wanted my thoughts to stop swirling in tornadoes, I wanted to sleep without waking up in the curled up, every muscle tight, fetal position every morning.

On that note, I wanted to actually SLEEP 😕 for longer than a few hours at a time.

Here’s what I now know, everything I rushed through is something I’ve needed to revisit. And that’s okay. With every layer I dove deeper, I received more peace and healing.
Throwing flowers on dirt doesn’t get them growing, planting seeds and nurturing the growth process does. (Thankfully I came across RIM® and that allows me to effectively get the healing I need)

And when someone told me to take my time I responded with a seething anger. (Trauma response)

Now, a decade later, I know the healing will be an always thing. And I’m okay with that.
I hope this note finds you if you’re feeling frustrated and impatient with it all like it did.
Breathe.
Build that best friendship with your nervous system.
She deserves our attention and our love.

And so do you 💜
J

✨ Monday Reset, Beautiful Soul ✨

Before the week rushes in, pause and ask:

💜 What does my heart need to feel safe, seen, and supported this week?
Maybe it’s permission to go slow.
Maybe it’s stronger boundaries.
Maybe it’s just a little more self-trust and grace.

Trauma healing isn’t linear.
But every time you choose to listen to your inner wisdom,
you’re rewriting the story.

You are not behind.
You are on time for your own healing.
This week, lead with compassion—for you.

If you find yourself trying SO hard for SO long, and are not seeing the results you want, watch this quick video - stick with me to the end. I think you’ll appreciate the wisdom imparted us by Price Pritchett in his book You Squared (one of my favorites)
