The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has confirmed conducting a search at the residence of Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, resulting in the retrieval of suspected proceeds of crime.

In an official statement, EOCO disclosed that the operation was carried out in June 2025, following a formal request from the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.S. Department of Justice.

As part of the operation, EOCO seized a 2019 Lamborghini Urus from Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, at his residence in Trassaco Valley, Accra.

According to EOCO, the luxury vehicle was voluntarily surrendered by the artiste and is currently in EOCO’s custody. U.S. authorities have reportedly linked the Lamborghini to Nana Kwabena Amuah, a convicted fraudster.
