Walt Now Comedy

Comedy creator and comedy fan Walt Now believes life is worth laughing.

He's also the showbiz-facing alter-ego of writer Walt Jaschek, a self-described geezer and retired copywriter of funny, Clio-winning ad campaigns for national brands. For that body of work, Walt was inducted into the St. Louis Media History Hall of Fame.

But declaring, "I'm not history yet," Walt is now writing and producing original comedy -- in the form of videos, stand-up routines, and single-joke shorts, all infused with Walt's self-described "Boomer humor."

But comedy is not new to this often-cast nerd! As a character actor, Walt has also appeared in movies ("Spirits of Jupiter,") short films ("Offices in the Raw,") TV commercials (KMOV-TV,) and dozens of comedy shorts.

"I'm out to entertain the world with smart fun," Walt says. "Or at least entertain myself."
