Your nervous system has two main modes: sympathetic – fight, flight, or freeze, and parasympathetic – rest, digest, and recover.

At re-origin, we have an easy way to remember it. The parasympathetic system is your body’s healing mode. It is the built-in state for restoring, repairing, and replenishing. So, think of “PARA” as in parachute. When it opens, everything slows down, your body softens, and you shift into a calmer, more relaxed state.
