It’s Winter
The season of death
The trees wither
The leaves & flowers die,
The Earth knows this season is a natural part of the change required.

If the earth welcomes death, why do we resist it so much?
We avoid death, while never really living.

In order to truly live, we have to allow parts of ourselves die.

Some questions I’ve been journalling with;
✏️What am I holding onto that is ready to die?
✏️What old behaviors & ways of being no longer serve me that need to die now?
✏️What relationships/business/projects need to end?
✏️What needs to end to allow a new beginning?
✏️What is complete now that I need to let go of to allow something new in?

I got really interested in angels when there was a big loss in my family as a teenager.

I surrounded myself with Angel cards, books, readings. This picture is just a few of the Angel books I had growing up!

It gave me a sense of hope & comfort in a really hard time.
This really was the beginning of my journey into consciousness 🪐

Then along the way, I stopped talking to the angels.
I got into other things in the spirit world & forgot about the angels!

My connection with them slipped away.

I also took on someone else point of view about angels.

This year, I came back to the Angels.

I started to talk to them, engage them, ask them questions again.

They are another energy that bring lightness, hope & inspiration into my life.

Talking to them isn’t about them giving me answers.
I can receive guidance and then I still have to choose.
Including them makes me softer, kinder.

5 Days of Talking to the Angels begins tomorrow and will be 5 daily deep energetic meditations to strengthen your connection with your angels.

So grateful to the incredible people that showed up for these classes,

I couldn’t save him…

I stood at our kitchen table folding clothes while the tears just keep coming.
I had gone past the point of no return.

I hadn’t felt this much pain in my heart in a very long time.
I cared so deeply for him but i couldn’t change him.
It was 7 years and i couldn’t lie to myself anymore.

I had seen for myself just how far the addiction had taken him & I couldn’t un-see it anymore.

My friend Becky sent me a song “Rescue me”

She sent me the song to let me know, that she had my back and she would come for me if I needed it.

The lyrics were:

I hear you whisper underneath your breath
I hear your SOS, your SOS
I will send out an army to find you
In the middle of the darkest night
It’s true, I will rescue you

Even now the lyrics still make me cry. That day in the kitchen, I sat and cried because all I could think listening to the lyrics of that song was:

Who is going to rescue him now?
Who will send an army to find him?

That part right there was the hardest piece. Leaving someone I loved and allowing him to self destruct while giving up trying to rescue him was the most heart wrenching choice I’ve had to make.

I could take the suffering
But to watch someone I love suffer, was so much harder.

I had given it my all, I had cared for him so deeply, I had tried so many different ways to help him.
I tried to save him and I failed.
I tried to rescue him and I failed.
I tried to be his savior and I failed.
The unfulfilled savior.

That song rescue me is a gospel song, she’s actually singing it as it’s God who will send out his army to find you.

In the end, I had to get that I’m not God,
I can’t save him,
I can’t save anyone.

Staying with someone you love to try and save them, not only hurts you but also hurts them.

Nobody gets to know what choice is for them in this.
They make you “their answer”
You make yourself “their savior”

And we stay on the merry go around & nothing ever changes.
How many lifetimes will we continue to do this for?

I’m choosing to break that cycle of insanity this lifetime.
