What makes a habit holistic? βοΈ
Holistic habits are the key to a fulfilling life! Often we tend to think of habits as something singular. For example, we say we want to sleep 8 hours a night, and think it's just about going to bed earlier or setting our alarm to an earlier time. But that's not how it works! π± We need to take a look at the BIGGER PICTURE. This is where holistic habits come in. They are powerful because they take your entire life into account and factor in the 5 dimensions of you - your body, energy, emotions, mind and spirit.
This is how you're able to transform your life and make your habits stick LONG TERM; because you go DEEPER and don't actually start with the habit first. Instead, by looking at who you are, what you value and what your goals are; you get a clear picture of what habits you actually need to establish to create the life you desire and how they support every other aspect of your life; because nothing in life is compartmentalized!

I've been there, felt that gripping tension when my ego gets challenged. That inner voice that screams in protest at the slightest criticism. π¬

So what's been my anchor amongst this sea of emotions? It's been the art of tuning into my body's sensations. β¨
I honestly find it fascinating how our emotions manifest physically. Our mental state directly affects our physical relaxation or tension. π§ββοΈπ€―
By practicing relaxation, I've found stability in my mind and emotions over time.
The secret? π
The same principles that guide a poised PHYSICAL POSTURE also guide a balanced mental state. Just as a balanced physical posture brings harmony, so does a balanced MENTAL POSTURE.

I will openly admit that one of my greatest flaws, has always been time management. β°
My days were a whirlwind, crammed until the moment I hit the pillow. I used to believe multitasking was my superpower, but truth be told, it was just a cover for my time management struggles.
And thenβ¦I became a mum. π€°πΌ And EVERYTHING changed. I mean, my whole identity and relationship towards my priorities and protecting my time and energy got shaken up and redefined. π
Adapting to parenthood sparked a huge transformation β especially in managing my time and energy for my business whilst being a mum, a partner, friend and coach.
