I’m Chibs Okereke, and I create sleep meditations and sleep hypnosis to help you unwind, switch off, and drift into deep rest.

My meditations have helped millions find better sleep, less anxiety, and more peace. I’m a meditation instructor on the Calm app, an accredited mindfulness facilitator, and a certified clinical hypnotherapist.

I started making these because I’ve been there myself: anxiety, stress, insomnia, nervous system dysregulation, burnout. I know what it’s like when your mind won’t stop and your body won’t let you rest.

My goal is simple: to help you feel supported, safe, and settled enough to sleep.

It’s a simple practice to slow the breath, soften the body, and use your pet as a calming anchor… so we can ease out of overthinking and back into here and now.

If your pet is with you right now, amazing. And if your pet isn’t with you any more, you’re very welcome to bring them to mind too… this one’s for pets past and present.

And I also added some cute pets for you to look at if you want to keep your eyes open during the meditation 🙂

If this brings up emotion, especially if you’re missing a pet who’s passed away, please take it at your own pace… and only go as far as feels kind.

Last week’s hypnosis got such amazing feedback… so many of you said you loved that floating feeling.

So I made a follow up… for anyone who wants to sink even deeper into that light, held, weightless kind of rest.

This one is called 'Feel Like You’re Floating'… a deep sleep hypnosis with 396Hz to help the body soften, the mind quieten, and sleep arrive naturally… with the frequency underneath as a steady sound your nervous system can settle around. 396Hz is part of the Solfeggio frequencies… a set of tones people have used for centuries for relaxation and emotional reset.

So you’ve got my voice guiding you, and the frequency running underneath, working together to help you feel grounded, held, and ready to drift.

Brand new gut-focused sleep meditation… and this is what so many of you have been asking for - https://youtu.be/PNv8CoESD8A

I wanted to take real care with this one, because I didn’t realise just how big an issue gut discomfort at night was for so many of you… and I really feel for you.

It’s not something I’ve personally struggled with… but every time I’ve had food poisoning, it’s been one of the worst experiences of my life. So I get it… anything to do with the gut can be intense.

This one is designed for sleep… gentle vagus nerve support, slow settling, and a few soft affirmations that fade out into background sound as you drift off. It’s there to help your system feel safe enough to rest… without you having to “do” anything perfectly.

And just so you know… I’m also releasing a daytime version in a couple of weeks, for those moments when you need support while you’re up and about.

If you’ve been carrying a lot into this year… and being harder on yourself than you deserve… this first sleep hypnosis of 2026 for you - https://youtu.be/rXPxaDQDKtw

I wanted it to start the year in the most loving, most supportive way.

Why?

Because I’ve read so many comments and emails this year from people being hard on themselves… and honestly, life is already challenging enough without us adding more weight to it.

So I’m calling it now… 2026 is the year of self love and self compassion. No more adding extra suffering with that inner critic voice.

And these pictures are from our Calm annual retreat where I guided the company in a beautiful meditation on the Terranea Lawn in California. I talked about self compassion and being kind to ourselves, so it felt like perfect time to share them with you 💙

This hypnosis is for deep healing and self love… the kind that feels quiet and real, not forced. It will ease you into calm, then move into slow, repeated self love affirmations that your deeper mind can actually take in… including a gentle “heart sanctuary” visual that helps you feel held from the inside.

This will be great for everyone… but especially if your mind gets a bit mean when you’re tired.

If the inner critic kicks in… judging you, replaying things, putting pressure on you to be better… this is for you.

This is VERY different to my usual meditations.

It’s not a sleep meditation.
It’s not a relaxation meditation.

It’s a guided reflection for perfectionism… the “I have to get this right or something bad will happen” feeling.

And honestly… it’s some of my best work.
It’s got beautiful music and a really beautiful video too, so even if you’re not in the mood to “meditate”, you can just let it play and take it in.

If you’ve been stuck in the loop of rewriting, checking, tweaking, overthinking… this is for you.

Try it on a walk, on a commute, or between meetings.

Are you tired… but your body won’t let you switch off?

This one is a little different… it’s a full mind-body reset… helping the mind soften and the body stand down together.

The hypnosis uses gentle but direct language… speaking straight to your subconscious… so your system can absorb messages of safety without you having to “try”.

We start with longer, softer exhales to help your body feel safe… then I guide you through a simple 10-to-0 countdown (like an inner elevator into deeper relaxation)… so the nervous system can finally stand down.

From there it’s a slow full-body unwind... followed by calming suggestions you can drift in and out of as you fall asleep.

This is a unique kind of meditation. I’m not even sure “meditation” is the perfect label, but it’s the closest thing I’ve got.

I reckon the perfect time for it is just before bed, but this is something you can listen to any time of the day, and it will also works as a sleep talk-down if you want to drift off to it 😴

For your first listen though, I’d love for you to hear it all the way through. I’m genuinely proud of this piece. It blends a bunch of things I love, meditation, coaching, spoken word, and music, all in one place.

I edited the music and the video myself, so this one feels like my baby. I got weirdly emotional making it… writing the words, putting the music to it, choosing the clips, and shaping the whole thing into something that feels honest.

The simple idea at the heart of it:
Perfectionism often isn’t about high standards.
It’s about trying to avoid a feeling…
- Judgement.
- Embarrassment.
- Criticism.
- That horrible “I knew I shouldn’t have done that” spiral.

I’m really curious what it lands like for you.

A few of you have emailed me about anxiety that shows up mainly in the stomach…
that tight knot in the belly… bloating… nausea… churning… or sprinting to the bathroom when stress hits.

It is not something I personally struggle with, so I have not created a specific gut focused meditation before… but if a lot of you deal with this, I would love to dig into the science and build something that genuinely helps.
