I'm a certified Life, Health, and Nutrition Coach, and a Terrain Certified Network Advocate living with stage 4 breast cancer. I help breast cancer survivors move past the trauma of a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, renew their bodies and minds, and regroup their lives, so they can create lives that are even better than before breast cancer.
Through my weekly podcast and my online coaching and courses, I guide women in supporting their metabolic health and discovering new ways of thinking so they can manifest the lives, relationships, and health they want and deserve.
I believe in supporting the body's ability to heal and focusing on self-compassion. In my own experience, I learned that fighting and healing don't go together, and when we choose to support healing, everything shifts and we can learn to love ourselves and our bodies, maybe for the first time.

What if your body has been talking to you your whole life, and no one ever taught you how to listen?
In this episode, I want to widen the lens on how you look at your body and what you think it is telling you. We have lost so much of the generational wisdom our mothers and grandmothers once passed down, and now most of us wait until something hurts before we pay attention. But your body speaks in subtleties long before that.
I share one of my great loves, Ayurveda, and how beautifully its ancient practice of observation lines up with modern functional nutrition. We look at what your tongue, skin, hair, nails, and eyes may be reflecting about your gut health, your nutrient status, and even your blood sugar.
Here is what I most want you to hear. This is not about self-diagnosis. None of these signs is proof of anything on its own. They are invitations to pay attention, not reasons to be afraid. For a community that carries so much fear, my hope is that noticing your body builds confidence instead, the quiet confidence of a woman in a loving conversation with her body rather than at war with it.

I share one of my great loves, Ayurveda, the 5,000-year-old healing system I studied for three years, and how beautifully its ancient practice of observation lines up with modern functional nutrition. Want one small place to start? Tomorrow morning when you brush your teeth, just look at your tongue and notice. Do it for a week. That is the practice.

What if one small piece of awareness could change everything for a man you love?
In this Father's Day episode, I sit down with Jake Messier, known on social media as The Guy With Stage Four Breast Cancer. Jake found a lump while putting on deodorant in early 2023, and like most men, it never crossed his mind that it could be breast cancer. That delay may have shaped his stage four diagnosis.
We talk about the isolation of being one man in a pink world, the support groups that turned him away, and the harder truth that in 70 years of research, almost no one has studied how this disease behaves differently in men.
But the piece I most want you to carry with you is his simple advice. Be aware of your partner's normal, so you can recognize the abnormal. Because the men in our lives are not exempt from this, and awareness can save a life.

What if the men you love have no idea this could happen to them?
This Father's Day episode is personal for me. I lost my brother to testicular cancer in 1993, and it taught me how dangerous it is when we do not talk about the cancers that catch our loved ones off guard.
So I am honored to introduce you to Jake Messier, known on social media as The Guy With Stage Four Breast Cancer. Jake found a lump while putting on deodorant in early 2023, and like most men, it never crossed his mind that it could be breast cancer. That delay may have shaped his stage four diagnosis.
In our conversation, he opens up about the isolation of being one man in a pink world, the support groups that turned him away, and the harder truth that in 70 years of research, almost no one has studied how this disease behaves differently in men. That gap is part of why male breast cancer is roughly 30 percent more fatal.
His closing advice stayed with me. Be aware of your partner's normal, so you can recognize the abnormal.
Please share this one with the men you love. It could be the reason one of them does not wait.

What if asking for support was never a sign of weakness, but one of the bravest, most loving things you could do for yourself?
In this episode, I get really honest about mental and emotional health after breast cancer, because it is not a side note to your healing. It deserves just as much attention as anything physical.
So many of us carry this quiet story that we should be able to get through it on our own. That reaching for support, whether it is a person or medical care, somehow means we failed. But we were never meant to go through hard things alone in a silo. The science even shows that isolation works against us.
Sometimes support is the thing that carries you across the hardest part of the bridge, so you can get to the other side and start making the choices that help you feel like yourself again.

What if eating well never had to mean bland, boring, or one more set of rules to follow?
In this episode, I talk about how your spice rack can be one of the simplest ways to support your body after breast cancer. So often the whole food thing gets heavy, full of pressure to find the perfect anti-cancer diet and the exact right superfoods. I have felt that heaviness, and I have coached so many women through it too.
But food that is well seasoned should be satisfying. When your meals taste good, you actually want to eat them, and when you enjoy your food, it serves your body better.
So pleasure and nourishment are not on opposite teams. They belong together on the same plate.

What if the pressure to find the perfect anti-cancer food has been the wrong goal all along?
In this episode, I talk about how your spice rack can be one of the simplest ways to support your body after breast cancer. Herbs and spices are not a separate category of food. They are plants, or parts of plants, and every one you add brings more compounds your body can work with.
A good pot of chili seasoned with a homemade blend can give you 25 different plant foods in one ordinary bowl. No new protocol, no expensive supplements, no single superfood to chase. Just variety, spread out over your meals and your weeks. And honestly, that takes the pressure off, doesn't it?
There is no single ingredient that makes or breaks your health, and anyone telling you otherwise is probably trying to sell you something.

What if the easiest way to support your health after breast cancer is already sitting in your kitchen?
Listen here: www.thebreastcancerrecoverycoach.com/465
So many of us cycle through the same foods week after week, then feel guilty for not eating more variety. And when we try to fix it, it turns into more recipes, more shopping, and more pressure to find the perfect anti-cancer diet.
In this episode, I want to take that pressure off.
Your spice rack is one of the simplest ways to add more plants to your plate. Herbs and spices are plants too, and they bring a whole range of beneficial compounds to your meals in just a couple of teaspoons.
We talk about why variety matters more than any single food, how one pot of chili can give you 25 different plant foods, and how to turn one chicken into five different meals just by changing the seasoning.
Food is meant to be colorful, satisfying, and enjoyable... not another set of rules to get right.

How much of the exhaustion you are carrying right now is actually coming from reality... and how much is coming from a deadline you invented for yourself?
www.thebreastcancerrecoverycoach.com/464
Most women never stop to ask that question. They just keep pushing. Keep measuring. Keep feeling like they are somehow falling short of a finish line that nobody else can even see.
What if that pressure has nothing to do with where you actually are, and everything to do with where you decided you were supposed to be by now?
Episode 464 is the permission slip a lot of women did not know they needed.

What if the thing causing the most suffering isn't where you are... but where you think you should be?
www.thebreastcancerrecoverycoach.com/464
After one of the most challenging health seasons I've experienced since my stage 4 diagnosis, I wanted to have an honest conversation about acceptance.
Not giving up.
Not settling.
Not pretending everything is okay.
I'm talking about releasing the struggle against reality and learning to meet yourself where you are.
So many of us carry invisible timelines.
We believe we should be healed by now.
Have more energy by now.
Feel like ourselves by now.
But who decided that?
This episode is about self-compassion, healing, letting go of unrealistic expectations, and finding peace in the season you're currently living through.
