I'm a certified Life, Health, and Nutrition Coach, and a Terrain Certified Network Advocate living with stage 4 breast cancer. I help breast cancer survivors move past the trauma of a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, renew their bodies and minds, and regroup their lives, so they can create lives that are even better than before breast cancer.
Through my weekly podcast and my online coaching and courses, I guide women in supporting their metabolic health and discovering new ways of thinking so they can manifest the lives, relationships, and health they want and deserve.
I believe in supporting the body's ability to heal and focusing on self-compassion. In my own experience, I learned that fighting and healing don't go together, and when we choose to support healing, everything shifts and we can learn to love ourselves and our bodies, maybe for the first time.

Have you ever caught yourself saying, I was perfectly healthy until I got cancer?
I said it too, until a teacher of mine gently challenged that belief.
In this episode, I get honest about the difference between not having a diagnosis and actually being well, not as blame, but as an invitation to look closer at what health really means.

Would you call yourself healthy right now?
It sounds simple, but after a breast cancer diagnosis it is one of the most layered questions there is.
In this episode, I get into who actually gets to decide whether you are healthy or sick, and why we so often confuse not having a diagnosis with being well.

Have you ever felt like you couldn't sit down until everyone else was taken care of?
You do not have to be a mother to be a caretaker.
If you are the one holding things together and quietly putting everyone else first, this clip is about you, and about the research on what that habit costs your own health.

Have you ever wanted a healthier life but stopped at the word hard?
I hear it from women all the time, and it is true: the life you want does cost something.
Time, attention, money, energy.
But most of us only ask what it will cost, and never the question underneath it.
As I close out 15 years since my first diagnosis, this clip is the reframe I most want to hand you.

Have you ever told yourself you'd get to it later, when there was more time, more money, more room?
Most of us have. And most of us never stop to ask what the waiting is costing us.
There is a question your brain reaches for first when you think about changing something, and it is almost always the wrong one. This episode gives you a better one.
Where did we learn that taking what we need means taking it from someone else?
Your life is being built right now, between breakfast and lunch today.

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, I should just be grateful I'm still here, so who am I to want more?
Fifteen years past my first diagnosis, this is one of the quiet beliefs I have had to unlearn. This is about why gratitude and wanting more are not opposites, and why the fullest version of your life is the one where both are true at the same time.

When was the last time you let yourself want something without immediately talking yourself out of it?
So many of us learned early to keep ourselves small.
Then a diagnosis arrives, and that voice gets even louder.
Have you ever promised to be content with less, as long as you got to stay?
A conversation I overheard at my kitchen table forty years ago shaped what I believed I was allowed to want.
What would it feel like to spot that same voice in your own life?
Episode 471 of Better Than Before Breast Cancer gives you a way to hold your gratitude and your wanting in the same two hands, without guilt.

In episode 470 of the Better Than Before Breast Cancer podcast, I reflect on 15 years since my first diagnosis and share one thing I lean on that has mattered as much to my healing as any food or workout.
It is not what most people expect, and it is not extra.
I believe it belongs in a healthy lifestyle right alongside movement and whole food.
This episode holds a simple challenge you get to take, one that could help you believe a little more in what you are capable of creating after a breast cancer diagnosis.

What if the moment you stop chasing "back to normal" is the moment you actually start living again?
July marks 15 years since my first breast cancer diagnosis, and this episode is one of the most honest ones I have shared. I had all these celebratory plans for this month, and then life happened. I lost people I cared about, a few of my clients passed, and right as I sat down to record, our sweet dog of 14 years died.
So I want to be real with you. Life is hard, and life is wonderful, and most of the time both are true at once. We do not have to choose between grief and joy. They live side by side.
In this episode, I share why a diagnosis becomes part of your story rather than something to push away, and why the foundation for a life you love is never discipline or willpower.
It is love. Loving yourself enough to care for your body through the hard things, and to keep creating, dreaming, and living, no matter where you are on your path.
Because we are never done living until we are done living.

What if you never had to choose between grief and joy, and both were allowed to live in the same day?
July marks 15 years since my first breast cancer diagnosis.
I had all these celebratory plans for this month, and then life happened.
I lost people I cared about, a few clients passed, and right as I went to record this episode, our sweet dog of 14 years died.
I tried to record it five times because I kept crying.
So I want to be honest with you. Life is hard, and life is wonderful, and most of the time both are true at once.
In this episode, I share a conversation with a newly diagnosed woman who told me she did not want cancer to become part of her identity, and the gentle truth I felt called to offer her.
I look back on 15 years that were never a straight line, and I get honest about the heaviness I felt when I sensed people hoped I could cure their cancer.
That was never my message.
My work has always been about wellness, living, and the future you are choosing to create right now.
Here is what I most want you to carry with you. We are never done living until we are done living.
And the foundation for the life you love is not discipline or willpower.
It is love.
