I've been teaching movement for over 25 years, with an MFA in Dance/Pedagogy from the Univ of Iowa, & a BA in Dance from the Univ of Alabama. I've studied at the Harvard Dance Program, & at Jacob's Pillow, & have taught masterclasses at the Univ of Georgia, Alabama, Montevallo, and was an Adjunct Prof of Dance at Jacksonville State Univ. I studied Pilates Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, and Cardiolates at Pilates Academy Inter. in NYC, and have studied Yoga for over 20 years, with a certification through YogaMu. I received my PT260 Hour Cert. with AAPT, and I also trained in NYC at NYHRC, Club Reebok, and Equinox gyms. I've studied Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Tai Kwon Do, Karate, Capoeira, and Kickboxing, and I really appreciate the focus that martial arts brings to movement.
