👋🏻 Hi, I’m Davia — born in Stuttgart, Germany and now baking from my cottage kitchen here in the U.S.
🇩🇪 I grew up surrounded by German baked goods, and when I moved to America, I missed those flavors so much that I started recreating them from scratch. Less sweet, full of flavor, and made with care — just like you’d find back home.

✨ What began as baking for my family turned into a thriving micro-bakery, a growing blog, and teaching others as a baking instructor. Now I’m here to share what I’ve learned — with you.

Chocolate Hazelnut Cake 🍫🌰
Rich, moist, and full of deep chocolate flavor with crunchy hazelnuts. Save this one!

INGREDIENTS
200 g milk chocolate
200 g hazelnuts (ground or finely chopped)
130 g all-purpose flour
6 eggs (separated)
200 g butter, room temperature
250 g sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
Powdered sugar for dusting

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.

Chop the chocolate and hazelnuts if needed.

Whisk flour, baking powder, and cinnamon together.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks one at a time.

Mix in chopped chocolate and hazelnuts. Stir in the dry ingredients.

Beat egg whites to stiff peaks and gently fold into the batter.

Pour into prepared pan and bake about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool before removing from pan. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
