I don't regret hedging my bets and taking the vid down. My singular complaint with Ex Sci is "overextrapolating firm conclusions from weak data," and I wasn't about to go to war over Word Online metadata mechanics I didn't have a full grasp of. I was going to put all the evidence for/against in a follow up video, but now that's unnecessary.
But I will be doing an EXTRA thorough review of Milo's video. I mean, he obviously spent so much time on it I feel like it would be disrespectful not to....

- There were some doubts around dates of revisions (and the date of the actual creation of Word Online...). I'll suspended belief of any conspiracy theories and take Mike's word for it unless other evidence surfaces.
- it only makes sense to take these vids down and make a new response that contains all current info.
- if this accidental rough draft upload is the case, Mike's expanation is mostly satisfactory. This is really only scandal worthy if it was as egregious as the original video made it out to be (though the equation for athletic magnitude will live on forever).
- I don't believe anyone rushed to judgment here... Mike said explicitly that it was reasonable for Solomon to assume it was the original, but just like sometimes you inadvertently submit a horrendous rough of a months long project to the college database to live forever.... shit happens.
- I dont know who thought itvwas a better idea to let Milo produce that ridiculous fluff piece than just post "it was a draft" the day of, but it was a strategic disaster and probably hurt their cause more than it helped. But it was sincerely satisfying to watch and I look forward to covering what a cowardly and sycophantic yes-man he is. And someone tell him to take the marbles out of his mouth and stop pronouncing the N in "damning".
- Since the day I started this channel I've given my 2 cents in events in the industry. Swooping in to bitch about drama or reactions or whatever is like going to IHOP to say you don't like pancakes. You sound like a whiney pin head.
