We often associate muscle with how we look, but its role goes far beyond aesthetics. Muscle influences how your body handles glucose, supports metabolic health, helps maintain strength and mobility, and gives you greater resilience as you age.
And the best part? You don’t need to become a bodybuilder to benefit from it.
Building and preserving muscle is a long-term investment in how well your body functions today, and years from now.
Swipe through the carousel to understand why muscle deserves a much bigger place in your health strategy. 💪🏼

When we are stressed, the mind can feel like it is running in ten different directions.
But stress does not only affect how we feel. It can also influence attention, decision-making and memory.

She didn’t need another diet.
She needed to rebuild her foundations.
Instead of chasing quick fixes, extreme restrictions or constantly worrying about the number on the weighing scale, the focus shifted to the basics that support the body every single day.
Better nourishment. Better sleep. Movement. Recovery. Consistency. And most importantly, understanding what her body actually needed.
Once those foundations were put in place, health stopped feeling like a punishment or a constant battle.
The weight began to come off naturally. Energy improved. The relationship with food became healthier. And slowly, something even more important returned: joy.
Because sometimes, the answer isn’t another diet.
It is giving the body the right foundations and allowing it the time, nourishment and care it needs to heal, regulate and thrive.
Health became easier. Weight loss became a by-product. And life became enjoyable again.

Quick brain quiz.
You meet someone for the first time and forget their name within minutes. Does that necessarily mean you have a poor memory?
What do you think?

There are some lessons in life that we understand only when it is too late.
We often assume that the people we love will always be there. So we postpone the call. We delay saying “I love you.” We assume our parents know. We assume our partner understands. We think our friends already know how much they mean to us.
And then, sometimes, life reminds us that nothing is permanent.
Grief is not only about losing someone. Sometimes, it is also about everything we wished we had said, everything we wished we had done, every hug we thought could wait, every “I love you” we kept inside.
Perhaps that is why expressing love genuinely and abundantly matters.
Tell your parents you love them.
Call that friend you have been thinking about.
Spend time with your family without being distracted by your phone.
Give your pet that extra hug.
Forgive someone.
Say what you feel while you still have the opportunity to say it.
Because one day, we may have all the love in the world inside us, but no one to give it to.
Do not wait for grief to teach you the value of expression.
Love loudly. Love genuinely. Love without keeping score.
❤️
Who is one person you love deeply but perhaps don't tell often enough?
Have you ever lost someone and wished you had said something more? If you’re comfortable sharing, tell us what you wish you had said.

We often feel like we are good at multitasking. But your brain may actually be switching rapidly between tasks rather than doing them at the same time.
What do you think happens when you multitask?

We often think spirituality means praying more, meditating more or following a particular practice.
But spirituality is not always about what you do. Sometimes, it is about how you live, how you treat people, how you respond to difficult situations and how connected you are to yourself.
What does spirituality mean to you?

In my conversation with Aaron Lobo, a marine conservation scientist and a childhood friend, we explored something I believe we often overlook: our health is deeply connected to nature.
We spoke about seafood, farmed vs wild-caught fish, mercury and toxins, our oceans, biodiversity, and the choices we make around the food we eat.
It was an honest conversation about food, health and our relationship with the natural world.

Perimenopause doesn’t only affect the woman going through it. It can change sleep, energy, mood, body temperature, periods and even how she experiences stress. For the men in her life - husband, partner, father, brother or friend—understanding what’s happening can be far more helpful than saying, “You’re overreacting.”
What is the most supportive thing a man can do when a woman is going through perimenopause?
