Cavernoma Alliance UK

🧠 Cavernomas are clusters of abnormal blood vessels that can occur in the brain and spinal cord. They are often described as looking like raspberries. Many never cause symptoms, but around 1 in 2,700 people have symptomatic cavernoma, which can lead to haemorrhages (bleeds), seizures and other neurological difficulties.

💛 Cavernoma Alliance UK has been supporting people affected by cavernoma since 2005. We are a small, patient-led charity providing information, peer support and funding research to improve treatment and outcomes. Registered Charity No. 1197257.
