I am a woman over 60, a makeup lover, and most importantly, a full time caregiver to my 79 yr old and completely left side paralyzed mother.
This channel will be about the reality of caregiving, the emotional weight, the daily routines, the EXHAUSTION, the LOVE, and the parts of yourself you sometimes have to set aside. It’s about what you give up… and what you choose to hold onto.
Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I still believe in showing up for myself, even if it is just in small ways like makeup and skin and self care.
Makeup is not about vanity here. It is however about feeling human, and still trying to feel and look your best. It’s about confidence, comfort and connection, while still taking some time from your day to remember that you still matter.
