WELCOME AND IM SO HAPPY YOU ARE HERE. On this page you will find some makeup tips for women over 60, very raw and real conversations about home, family and getting through the hard seasons and encouragement.
I am a woman over 60, a makeup lover, and most importantly, a full time caregiver to my 79 yr old and completely left side paralyzed mother.
This channel will be about the reality of caregiving, the emotional weight, the daily routines, the EXHAUSTION, the LOVE, and the parts of yourself you sometimes have to set aside. It’s about what you give up… and what you choose to hold onto.
Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I still believe in showing up for myself, even if it is just in small ways like makeup and skin and self care.
Makeup is not about vanity here. It is however about feeling human, and still trying to feel and look your best. It’s about confidence, comfort and connection, while still taking some time from your day to remember that you still matter.

BEAUTY IN THE CAREGIVING LIFE💕
As we age over 40, 50,60 etc. makeup often takes on a quieter, more intentional meaning. It becomes less about hiding who you are and more about honoring the face that has lived a full life. Techniques shift, products change, and our expectations soften; hydration matters more than perfection, and light matters more than coverage. Makeup becomes a way to gently restore warmth, brightness and definition rather than to chase our youth. It can be an act of self respect and taking a few minutes to care for yourself, to feel put together on your own terms. At this stage of our lives wearing makeup is a choice, not a obligation, and that freedom allows it to become something personal and affirming: a small daily ritual that says you still matter, our presence still counts, and we deserve to feel comfortable and confident in the ever changing and aging skin we are in.

I MUST HAVE PRETEND SHOPPED TEN TIMES TODAY AND TRIED TO CONVINCE MYSELF I NEEDED THE NEW BLUSHES FROM MAYBELLINE AND ELF EVEN THO I HAVE 4 DRAWERS OF BLUSH N THATS NOT INCLUDING MY SHELVES!!
