A nearly life long musician, I grew up playing piano and singing, eventually playing covers in a coffee shop in high school. I was a vocal performance major in college, and at around age 20 I started playing the guitar. I was hooked, and have loved it ever since. For 15 years I was the music director/worship leader at a small church in Canton, Michigan. I also love hockey, and have been a writer since 2019. I currently write for HockeyHotStove.com and cover my hometown team the Detroit Red Wings. Hockey, Guitar and my wife of over 25 years are my greatest passions. This channel is dedicated to the guitar side of things where I’ll do gear reviews and performances of some of my favorite songs.
