A nearly life long musician, I grew up playing piano and singing, eventually playing covers in a coffee shop in high school. I was a vocal performance major in college, and at around age 20 I started playing the guitar. I was hooked, and have loved it ever since. For 15 years I was the music director/worship leader at a small church in Canton, Michigan. I also love hockey, and have been a writer since 2019. I currently write for HockeyHotStove.com and cover my hometown team the Detroit Red Wings. Hockey, Guitar and my wife of over 25 years are my greatest passions.
