Most don't run a company like this. So when I share the company's financial status and my paycheck, 30,000+ people read the post. At $34 CPM, that's $1,000 in free marketing.

Here's our September 2025 status:

YouTube
We share free AI and RPA tutorials. Video ads made $2,805. But more importantly, we helped people.

Live training
Companies book us for Copilot and Power Automate workshops. Many know us from YouTube. This speeds up the sales process. We earned $51,675 from live seminars in September.

E-learning
We sell online courses with lifetime access for $50 each. September: $2,587.

Consulting
We offer one-hour sessions for Power Automate, Copilot, or OpenAI. Earned $11,723.

TOTAL
Earnings in September: $68,790. Yearly total: $493,864.

The best part? I founded the company with my wife. Still no investors. No loans. Built it slow and steady. Freedom for our small family.

How much do I earn? This month, my paycheck said $7,330. The CEO (my wife) was $5,430 (she had less mileage allowance). Pension and profit come in December. So far $219,116.

Raise capital. Scale fast. Build big.

That was the advice. When we started the company.

Our mission was to have fun workdays. And spend more time as a family. We weren't trying to build the next Amazon. So, our strategy looked different.

We want to deliver the best workshops our customers have ever seen. We also aim to work 34 hours per week. Therefore, we keep our company "do's" clear.

Do's:
- Every customer is our most important customer. Answer emails within 24 hours.
- Every workshop participant is our most important participant. Learn their names within 10 minutes. Use their names and background throughout the day. Talk to them individually and get feedback during breaks. Adjust if needed. Give them access to lifetime e-learning after the day.
- Few products. We train staff in RPA Copilot and GPT. Beginners to experts.
- Don't be afraid to recommend competitors. If we cannot help, we refer them to top rivals.
- Avoid meetings.
- No loans or investors. Then we are 100% the bosses.
- Only prepaid orders. Not one minute was spent chasing late payers. No headaches.
- 99 percent transparent. We ask the community for feedback. Take decisions in public. We share our financial numbers openly.
- Give back. We offer free online training to people who cannot afford a 4400 dollar day. Our community: ‪@ILoveAutomation‬
- Automate every repetitive task. Our background makes it easy. We use LLMs, AI agents, RPA, APIs, and AI workflows.

What we want to get better at:
- Hire young people. We get older and need fresh ideas and products.
- Spend money on marketing. So far, our orders have come organic and by word of mouth.

It started as a hobby.

But helped me quit my job.

I had a great job with colleagues I liked.

As a hobby, I made RPA and programming tutorials on YouTube. My videos were not flashy like those of MrBeast or PewDiePie. Just clear technical guides.

Viewers began asking for workshops for their companies.

In Dec 2021, I left my job to turn my hobby into work. And spend more time with my family.

The team has grown from just me to four people. Including my wife.

OffDig is Denmark's largest public digitalization conference.

Arrived early to catch up with colleagues and friends. Old and new.

My conference presentations are simple. Show practical examples and explain them clearly. And don't bore people (= 0 PowerPoint slides). Like a YouTube video.

Today, I demonstrated how Copilot automates meeting recaps. From simple recaps to templates and AI agents.

Sell IT consulting?

Start a YouTube channel.

I started this YouTube channel in 2019. While recording, I whispered because my family slept in the next room. My broken computer fan made a loud, windy noise, so you could barely hear me.

I created videos I wanted to watch myself. Inspired by a professor at my university, who had a YouTube channel for all his students. He shared no-nonsense videos explaining complex economic topics.

A few hundred people subscribed despite the bad sound quality. One of them contacted me and helped me with a studio sound setup.

My videos cover AI and software automation. Step-by-step tutorials where I try to explain everything in layman's terms.

From 2019 to 2022, the main topic was UiPath, a major RPA (Robotic Process Automation) software vendor. In 2022, the market demand went from UiPath to Power Automate. Switching tools meant more views. So I did.

I still do Power Automate tutorials. And expanded the content to OpenAI APIs and Copilot 365.

Before YouTube, I was unknown. However, the videos made me known in the niche community of RPA. As a result, I won six awards. Two are UiPath Most Valuable Professional trophies (2021 and 2022), and another two are Microsoft MVPs (2023 and 2024).

I had a great job with great colleagues. People saw me on YouTube and started to contact me for consulting and workshops. I told my wife I wanted to quit my job and build a company based on the channel. I'm risk averse, but she convinced me. So, in December 2021, I quit my job.

Three months later, my wife also quit her job and joined the company. Companies buy our Copilot 365 and Power Automate workshops and consulting. The sales process is short because they already "know" us from YouTube.

Our workshops reflect our YouTube style: no boring PowerPoints or sales pitches. We do everything together in the software. And we pause and explain the best practices. People don't zone out and remember everything.

Each participant receives lifetime access to our e-learning to repeat what they learned when the course ends.

Following the awards, we are frequently invited to give conference keynotes. Our goal is the same as our workshops: 100% action and zero sales talk about our company.

Last year (2024) andersjensenorg made $444,186. Because of YouTube, our lifetime marketing spend is still $0.

My wife and I quit our jobs.

To start a company on a $0 budget.

We wanted freedom and family time. Since we are cautious, we decided not to take loans. We still wanted a paycheck, 7 weeks of vacation, and pension savings from day one.

The strategy is simple: Create good YouTube content. If viewers enjoy our content, they may book our paid workshops.

We lost all our reviews 😭

I’m Anders, owner of a small RPA and AI training company.

Our Google Business Profile helps people find us. In October, I updated our address after moving offices.

And then hell broke loose.

Google flagged it as a fake address, deleting our profile and all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐-star reviews.

We’re back after sending Google numerous verification videos and utility bills. But the reviews are permanently lost 😞
