Welcome to my little corner of YouTube! I'm Garrick, a passionate photographer with a keen eye for capturing the beauty and serenity of the world around me. Born and raised in Northern Illinois, I have always found solace and inspiration in the great outdoors.

My photography journey began 42 years years ago when I picked up my first camera. I specialize in rural & rustic scenes, & am drawn to the timeless elegance and nostalgia of the American Midwest. From the windswept beaches of Lake Michigan to snow-covered landscapes of Starved Rock State Park, I strive to convey the raw beauty and quiet power of the natural world.

Each photograph I share tells a story—a fleeting moment frozen in time, waiting to be explored and experienced anew.

When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me playing with my Grandkids or loyal Silver Lab Cooper. These experiences enrich my artistry and fuel my creative spirit, shaping the unique perspective I bring to each photograph.
