My photography journey began 42 years years ago when I picked up my first camera. I specialize in rural & rustic scenes, & am drawn to the timeless elegance and nostalgia of the American Midwest. From the windswept beaches of Lake Michigan to snow-covered landscapes of Starved Rock State Park, I strive to convey the raw beauty and quiet power of the natural world.
Each photograph I share tells a story—a fleeting moment frozen in time, waiting to be explored and experienced anew.
When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me playing with my Grandkids or loyal Silver Lab Cooper. These experiences enrich my artistry and fuel my creative spirit, shaping the unique perspective I bring to each photograph.

Hello All! Hope you are having a great day, and week so far! For any NFL fans out there, the Chicago Bears are BACK Baby!! So any Packers, Lions or Vikings fans out there better watch out!!! :) Speaking of the NFL.....FALL is right around the corner and I am working hard on putting my very first Zine together and will have it ready for late Fall or Holiday Season at the latest and I will also consider putting calendar number two together if I can find a way to keep costs down for all you guys! Hey All! Sharing one of my favorite images from a video that is coming out soon. I love urban photography from a hight vantage point as its such a different perspective. I encourage you all, and challenge you all to get out and find a high spot to shoot from!!! Tomorrows video will be out at six am central and will feature a review of Zine that a fellow YouTube Photographer (Bernard Brunet) sent me. Hey Everyone! Tomorrow night at 6pm I will be joining the Photographers Roundtable to discuss all things photography. The live stream is hosted on Ron Durants YT Channel and Ive place a link below. Its a really good group of guys who are all a heck of a lot smarter and more tech savvy than I am so you should tune in if you can and bring whatever questions you may have too! Like I said, these guys are pretty smart! OH! and Also, here is a shot I took at the St Louis Arch a few weeks back when my wife and I took a long weekend for our 33 anniversary.
