पुणे : सध्या देशात जी-२० परिषदेची धामधूम सुरू आहे. या परिषदेसाठी पुण्यात १६ आणि १७ जानेवारीला होणाऱ्या परिषदेस २०० प्रतिनिधी उपस्थित राहणार आहेत. परिषदेतील सदस्य पुण्यातील जे डब्लु मेरियट हॉटेल सेनापती बापट रोड पुणे येथे रहाणार आहेत. सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठ पुणे व इतर स्थळाना भेटी देणार आहेत. या ठिकाणांच्या दोन किलोमीटरच्या परिसरात ड्रोन कॅमेरे वापरण्यास पुणे शहर पोलिसानी सुरक्षेच्या कारणास्तव बंदी घातली आहे. विशेष शाखेचे उपायुक्त आर. राजा यांनी याबाबतचे आदेश काढले आहेत.

PUNE: An incident has come to light wherein a young woman was molested while chatting with a friend near the Alumni Hall of the Savitribai Phule Pune University. In this case, an FIR has been registered at the Chhatushringi Police Station against a sanitation worker working in the Pune University.

The accused has been identified as Deepak Saude. A 22-year-old girl has filed a complaint in this matter. This young lady studies at the Pune University and stays in the girls' hostel of the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Apparently, on the night of December 31, the girl was chatting with her friend Vishal Pawar on the public road near the Alumni Hall. At that time Deepak Saude came there. For no apparent reason he asked the girl asked what department she belonged to and wondered aloud as to what she was doing on the road so late at night. He then allegedly abused her and allegedly asked whether she was sex in the open and whether he ought to call the police car and and threatened to throw her in jail.

The young woman lodged a complaint in this regard with the Chhaturshringi police on Tuesday.

Accordingly, an FIR has been registered. Meanwhile, it has come to light that the accused, Deepak Saude, who works as a housekeeper in the sanitation department of the Pune University, was purportedly threatening students by pretending to be a policeman and donning a policeman's jacket.

PUNE: Today, on 3/1/2022, while the local crime branch team was patrolling in the area of the Narayangaon police station in connection with the burglary, the crime branch team received reliable information from a confidential informant that a drug dealer was coming to sell drugs at Ozar Phata in Narayangaon. A trap was laid and the peddler was taken into custody. When asked for his name and address, he said his name is Manjar Bashir Khan and that he is from Shipai Mohalla, Junnar District, Pune. When he was searched, mephedrone was found in a plastic pouch in his right-side front pocket.
1) International market price of Mephedrone is 8000 per gram and seized goods are worth ₹40000
2) A Maruti Swift company car worth ₹3, 00,000/-
3) Two 0.20-micron-thick small plastic bags with 5 gm of mephedrone and the car, both collectively worth ₹3, 40,000/- have been seized at Narayangaon Post as per a general report. An FIR has been registered under Section 8(c) 22(a) of the Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, and the accused and the material have been handed over to Narayangaon Police Station for further investigation.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Ankit Goyal. As a result, the task was assigned to the Upper Superintendent of Police, Mitesh Ghatte, and the Sub Divisional Police Officer for Junnar Division, Mr. Mandar Naibe, along with Senior Police Inspector of the Local Crime Branch, Mr. Avinash Shilimkar.
