After leaving a 13-year career in the computer industry to be home with my kids, we eventually decided to homeschool to support some special needs. As I learned to homeschool, I found too much information in some areas, too little in others, and a whole lot of opinions that only distracted me and wasted my time. There was no clear path for me to follow. So I used the skills I’d learned in my engineering career to create a homeschool that works for our unique, quirky family - a homeschool that includes modern methods and minimal fuss so that we can have a life outside of homeschooling.
