I’m kicking off a 16-day fasting journey today to reset my body and mind.
Here’s my fasting breakdown:
✅ March 17–21: Raw foods only (fruits, veggies, nuts, and seeds) ✅ March 22–29: Water-only fast (anywhere from 3-7 days) ✅ March 30–April 5: Juice cleanse (hydrating, nutrient-packed juices)
Fruits and vegetables don’t taste as rich as they used to because they’re picked too early to meet demand, and soil quality has declined. Even tropical fruits are harvested unripe for export, then sold at high prices. That’s why I love traveling to different regions to experience foods grown in their native soil, at peak ripeness.
I’ve been thinking about starting with a water fast this season before transitioning into a juice cleanse. It feels like the perfect way to reset and align with the new year, spring.
