A real reframe is not positive thinking.
It is not pretending everything is fine.
It is not dressing up pain in a motivational quote.
It is not lying to yourself so other people feel more comfortable.
A real reframe gives your brain a better instruction it can actually use.

Instead of:
“I always mess this up.”
Maybe it becomes:
“This is a pattern I am learning to interrupt.”

Maybe it becomes:
“Something in my system needs better support.”
That is Mindset by Design.
