This channel is a purely private, non-commercial project. I have no plans to turn my hobby into a business. So please refrain from sending inquiries regarding commercial collaborations.
I have been running this channel as an one-man show since June 2017. I originally planned to film various drives—hence the name "BFDdrives" (combining "BFD"—from my first YouTube channel launched in 2006—with "drives"). Eventually, I began showcasing footage from classic car shows—initially as slideshows, and later as videos once I had better equipment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, classic car meets became scarce, so I started featuring my model car collection. This led to a shift in my subscriber base, as people from all over the world suddenly discovered the channel.
For this reason, I run my channel in English. It also serves as good practice for me to keep my language skills fluent.
