Documenting my life as I’m on a mission to help 10,000 people get lean, thrive and disease proof their bodies on plants by 2033 and 1 million by 2050 (Currently over 1,000+)
After losing my late partner to breast cancer, I embarked on this journey to help people get lean, thrive, and reduce their risk of chronic illnesses through whole food, plant-based eating, exercise, and being fit.
That is when I founded my company, Fit Vegan Coaching, on April 1st, 2020.
Monthly, we donate to cancer patients directly to support them on their healing journey, as I remember what it was like when I was only making $12,000/year working at a smoothie bar, trying to provide for my later partner with all the expensive cancer bills.
If you are subscribed to this channel, you are in for a beautiful ride. Thank you for your love and support.

There’s a lot of noise in the world of health and fitness, quick fixes, “hacks,” and conflicting opinions. But when you learn from someone who backs everything with science, the path forward gets crystal clear.
We recently welcomed Dr. Angie Sadeghi, MD for a live training with our members, and what she shared was a game-changer:
✨ Your gut is your body’s command center — fuel it right and it fuels your mind, mood, and immunity.
✨ Fiber is the MVP — it protects your gut, boosts performance, shrinks dangerous fat, and guards against disease.
✨ Perfection is a myth — lasting transformation comes from consistency, not chasing “quick fixes.”
The same principles that fuel Olympic athletes can fuel YOU, no matter your age or starting point. 🚀
Ready to cut through the noise and finally take control of your health?

The truth is… food is rarely the issue.
Most of the time, it’s the patterns, beliefs, and emotions behind the food that keep us stuck in the cycle of restricting ➡️ guilt ➡️ overeating.
That’s why I sat down with Coach Cass to talk about the real work of healing your relationship with eating. With over a decade of coaching experience and a passion for food psychology, she shared her 5 powerful tips:
🕵️♀️ Dig into your history
🧠 Understand your hunger (physical, mental & emotional)
🍪 Make peace with “bad” foods
💪 Let go of perfection
This isn’t about willpower, it’s about rewiring your blueprint so food no longer controls you.

Ever tried to save a few bucks… only to end up paying way more in the long run?
That was me with a cheap sunshade for my car. I thought I was being smart, but one small gap turned into a melted seat and a big repair bill.
👉 The lesson? “Good enough” usually isn’t.
And your health & fitness journey is no different.
Piecing together free workouts, following random meal plans, or hiring a bargain-bin coach might feel like savings upfront… but the hidden cost is wasted time, frustration, and lost progress.
At Fit Vegan, we don’t do “universal fit.” We do custom-fit transformations, tailored plans, proven expertise, and real results that last.
💡 Stop wrestling with the cheap sunshade approach.
Start building the health and body you deserve—with support that actually fits.

It’s hard to get back into shape, I’m living it right now.
Six weeks ago I got a concussion and four stitches above my eye, which meant zero exercise while my brain healed. Then I sprained my ankle, and for three weeks I could barely walk.
Even with some strength training and basketball drills, my body changed. I lost muscle, my cardio tanked, and I feel softer than I like.
Here’s the thing: life happens. Quick fixes don’t last. Transformation is a lifelong journey, not a six-week challenge.
I focus on what I can control, accept that progress will feel hard, and keep the bigger picture in mind, long-term health first. Small actions compound, and consistency beats perfection.
If you’re struggling, remember: this is temporary, and the internal transformation matters more than what the scale says.
Your journey is a marathon, not a sprint. Keep going, adapt, and do your best.

Wow what a few weeks it’s been. I injured my ankle and was in a boot and crutches for almost two weeks. Then hundreds of bees took over our new home forcing us to live in a hotel.
I’ve been tested physically and mentally more than ever. Four weeks ago I got a concussion and couldn’t train like usual. Just when I was ready to get back I twisted my ankle badly during a game.
Nothing broken but still healing.
Here’s the truth: life will test you. You won’t always feel strong or perfect but showing up anyway is what counts.
I haven’t done leg workouts in weeks but I focus on what I can do: upper body workouts, nutrition, and skills I can practice seated or standing on one leg.
Small actions add up over time. Consistency is everything.
If you’re struggling, remember it’s okay to adjust your plans and keep going. That’s how progress happens.

I'm falling learning the value of slowing down to go faster and further.
For so many years it seemed counterproductive. Anytime my mentors told me about it, I was being a smart ass (I can be like that sometimes). I didn't understand how doing less, pausing more, taking time to reflect could allow me
to progress towards my goals at a much more rapid rate.
I now see what they were talking about.
Pausing, doing nothing, allows you to mentally take a step back.
Look at what is happening from a different perspective and honestly I've gained so much clarity from doing that over the past few years and is one of the main reasons why I take a digital detox the first 7 days of every month.
To allow myself the mental space to reflect and honestly be bored.
My most life changing insights have come from pure moments of boredom.
Which is a lost art in today's society.
So I chose to consciously carve out time in my monthly schedule to do just that.
And not only that it's allow my time to disconnect from social media, content creation, running the business to fully be more present and reconnect on a
deeper level with my wife @ivyteves <3
I've been doing this for over 3 years now and I have zero regret, I actually wish I would have started earlier but the truth is that I wasn't ready for that lesson.
So if you are seeing it's because I've built an incredible team behind me to ensure that everything runs smoothly even while I'm in complete digital/dopamine detox.
This is my version of "filling my cup" if you will.
I'm sharing this because for those of you that are interested in living a great life, it starts with working and leveling up your mindset. And this best way to do that, is to take time to prioritize your health, Internal (Food), external (fitness), mental (Taking digital breaks, meditation, etc...)
I hope this inspires just one person to take action today.
We are well on our way of serving and impacting the lives of 10,000 people by 2033 and 1 million by 2050 through our @fitvegancoaching program.
And I'm doing it one post at a time and one newsletter at a time which I send every Saturday (The link to join for free is in my profile) <3

Over the past few weeks, while recovering from a concussion, I’ve received so many messages about how I’ve been showing up not just physically, but mentally.
And here’s the truth:
If I can’t lift weights right now, I’ll walk.
If I can’t train like I used to, I’ll stretch.
Not because it’s the same physically but because every small action builds the muscle that matters most: character.
I’ve been through some sh*t over the last decade.
Dark seasons. Loss. Setbacks.
But somehow, I always found a way to rise not because I had the perfect game plan, but because I fell in love with progress.
Even 0.001% progress.
When you stop waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect mood, the perfect motivation…
And start taking imperfect action you begin to change who you are at the core.
That’s when transformation actually sticks.
If I can only shoot 100 light basketball shots now instead of full training sessions I’ll take it.
If I’m tired, groggy, or not in the mood I still show up.
Because showing up trains your brain to stop negotiating with your excuses.
Most people don’t fail because of the workout or nutrition plan.
They fail because their mindset isn’t anchored.
And that’s the real secret:
Wanting to get better no matter what.
Not perfect. Not always motivated. Just consistent enough to stay in the game.
Treat your fitness like the stock market it’ll have dips.
Your weight will fluctuate.
But if you don’t quit, the trend will go in the right direction.
Play the long game.
Fall in love with who you’re becoming, not just a number on the scale.
You can’t fail if you don’t quit.
