Jesus doesn’t just forgive us;
He invites us again to follow Him, love Him, and care for others.

📖 요한복음 21:15–19

베드로는 예수님을 세 번 부인했다.
그런데 은혜의 바닷가에서, 예수님은 실패를 꺼내지 않으시고 사랑을 묻는다.
"네가 나를 사랑하느냐?"
실패는 베드로의 끝이 아니었다. 오히려 더 깊은 부르심으로의 시작이었다.

예수님은 우리를 단순히 용서하시는 것에 그치지 않고,
다시 사랑하고, 따르고, 이웃을 돌보도록 초대하신다.

거듭된 실패에 포기하는 것이 아니라 주님의 부르심에 "예"라고 대답할 수 있는 용기,
그것 또한 순종이다.

John 20:24–29, Luke 24:13-35

Thomas said, “Unless I see the nail marks and touch His wounds, I won’t believe.”
The Emmaus disciples walked alongside Jesus, completely unaware it was Him—
until He broke the bread.
Two stories. Same Jesus. And a powerful truth:
Jesus doesn’t shame our questions—He meets us in them.
Thomas wasn’t kicked out for doubting. Jesus invited him to come close—
“Touch my wounds. See for yourself.”
The Emmaus disciples didn’t recognize Jesus at first.
But in the ordinary act of breaking bread, their eyes were opened.

Faith doesn’t mean absence of questions. Sometimes, it begins with a question.
A conversation. A quiet walk. And Jesus walks with us through every moment.
Jesus welcomes your questions.
He’s not afraid of your doubts.
Faith doesn’t mean having all the answers—but
learning to trust the One who walks with you.

"내 눈으로 못자국을 보고 손으로 만져보기 전엔 절대 못 믿겠어."
믿고 따랐던 메시야를 한 번 잃어 버린 적이 있는 도마는 확인 없이 확신 하고 싶지 않았던 것 같아요.
예수님의 죽음 후에 예루살렘을 떠나 가던 제자들도
부활하신 예수님이 찾아 와 함께 걷고 있었지만, 처음엔 그분이 누군지 몰랐죠.
두 이야기, 한 분의 예수님, 그리고 한 가지 진리—
예수님은 우리의 질문을 꺼리지 않으세요. 그 가운데 우리를 만나 주세요.

예수님은 도마를 나무라지 않으셨어요. 의심 뒤에 진짜 마음 - 어쩌면 두려움- 을 보셨을 거예요.
그리고 말씀하셨죠 —“와서 만져 봐. 직접 확인해 봐.”
엠마오 제자들은 예수님과 함께 걷는 일상 속에서,
식탁 위에서 예수님께서 떡을 떼는 순간 깨닫죠. 그들 앞에 계신 분이 누구인지.

믿음은 두려움이나 질문의 부재를 의미하지 않아요 .
그 가운데 여전히 걷는 걸음 그리고 대화 가운데 자라 가죠.
그러므로 지금 솔직한 질문이 있다면 그걸 들고 예수님께 가 봐요.
다 알지 못하고 당장은 이해되지 않더라도
나와 함께 걸어가시는 분을 신뢰하기로 선택하는 것이 믿음의 시작이예요

🌿 WEEK 1: FROM FEAR TO JOY

John 20:19–20 (NLT)
That Sunday evening, the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord!

Fear is real.
In our everyday life, fear hides in different corners—uncertainty about the future, pressure to succeed, loneliness, or the fear of getting hurt from relationship. We often try to manage it by locking it away, staying busy, or pretending it’s not there.

But Jesus doesn’t wait for us to have it all together.
He steps right into our locked rooms—with wounds still visible—and says, “Peace be with you.”
His peace doesn’t ignore fear; it transforms it. It reminds us that we’re not alone, that resurrection has the final word, and that joy is still possible even in our hideaways.

✨ What if today, right in the middle of your anxiety or unknowns, Jesus is already there, whispering peace?
Would you let that peace speak louder than your fear?

그 날 곧 주간의 첫날 저녁에, 제자들은 유대 사람들을 두려워하여 문을 모두 잠그고 있었다. 그런데 예수께서 오셔서 그들 가운데 서서, "너희에게 평화가 있기를!" 하고 말씀하셨다. 그리고 나서 예수께서는 손과 옆구리를 그들에게 보여주셨다. 제자들은 주님을 보고 기뻐하였다.

우리도 ‘닫힌 방’에 있을 때가 많지 않나요? 다른 사람 눈치 보느라, 미래가 불안해서, 실패가 무서워서—
겉으론 괜찮아 보여도, 마음 속엔 사실 두려움과 불안이 숨어 있다 문득 문득 큰 목소리를 낼 때가 있잖아요.
그저 세상에서도 나 자신에게서도 숨어 버리고만 싶은 순간.

근데 예수님은 그런 우리에게 조용히 찾아오세요.
"왜 이렇게 믿음이 없니?" 라고 묻지 않으시고, 그저 상처 난 손을 내보이며 말씀하세요—“평안하길 바란다.”

예수님의 평강은 두려움을 무시하거나 외면하지 않아요. 예수님의 말씀이 주시는 평강은 두려움을 잠잠케 하고
마음을 기쁨으로 채우는 힘이예요.

✨ 지금 마음 한편에 자리한 그 불안 속에 두려움 곁에, 예수님이 이미 와 계시다면 어떨까요?
평강을 약속하신 그분의 목소리가 당신의 두려움보다 더 크게 들릴 수 있다면, 어떤 변화가 시작될까요?
