Hippie Chick Off Grid Maine
Homesteading Alone off grid in Maine isn't for the faint of heart. It's made up of long hard days and nights. Daylight, dark, rain or snow, things have to be done. You wake up tired and you go to bed tired, but it's worth every bit of the blood, sweat and tears shed. As middle-aged woman, I fair well. I grow and raise most of my own food to help self-sustain. I also work a full time job and a part-time job outside of the homestead so there's not much time to rest. I believe if one wants to live their dream, it can happen in some way or another.
