Hi peeps, hope you're all doing fine.
Obviously it's been a hot minute since my last video... I got some good and some bad news in that regard. The good news is that a new video is coming in the next, i don't know, let's just say ~7 days. The bad news is that it's very likely going to be my last video. As a matter of fact i've been trying to finish the upcoming video for the last two years but life just continuously keeps f'ing me over with 2024 certainly being one of the worst years of my life.
I lost my dad in march, due to an heart attack that came out of absolutely nowhere, and in november my mum had a heart surgery that completely went to shit and ended up with her needing to be put into an artificial coma. During the coma she went through very critical phases and surgeries, often times with uncertain outcomes, but thankfully she somehow managed to make it through and eventually woke up. Unfortunately only with one third of the heart she was born with because the other two-thirds needed to be replaced with an artificial heart. While this artificial heart is thankfully keeping her alive it sadly ties her to the hospital until she is fit enough to get on an transplant list for a donor heart and it's safe to say that it'll be a long road until she's even fit enough to get on that transplant list, let alone to recieve a donor heart. It goes without saying that the only thing i care about right now is to be with my mum and support her as much as i can and considering the long road she has ahead of her, there's just not a chance in the world that i'll be able to work on a youtube project in the foreseeable future. That's why i decided to upload the mentioned video now, although it isn't completely finished. There are a few things in that video that i would've liked to do different, a few things that i would've liked to smooth out, a thing or two that i would've liked to add but i don't think i need to explain to you that i couldn't give less of a fuck about trivial shit like that right now. Trust me though, the video is going to be up to my usual standards regardless and i'm very confident that you peeps gonna like it. After this video i might actually do one more video. Some type of best moments montage type of shit. A proper closer. I really can't promise if or when i'm going to be able to make that happen though. This is definitely not the time i wanted to put an end to this channel, especially considering all the ideas i still have in my mind but as i've said before : the only thing i care about right now is supporting my mum as much as i can in what's ahead of her.
Finally i'd like to thank you peeps for supporting me in whichever form throughout the years. It was always been appreciated and although the circumstances around announcing my retirement from youtube are definitely on the sad side of life don't let the sadness creep too much into the commentary section of my upcoming video. Since it's most likely my final proper youtube project i'd love to see some comments that appreciate the actual content. Of course i'm not going to tell you what to do or what to comment, obviously that's completely up to you, i just wanted to express what i would love to see in the commentary section of this last project.
To my twitch friends (you guys know who you are) : Give me some good old twitch reaction content on old mate clockni's new and most likely last youtube vidja, my goodni... Obviously i'm just kidding though. If you guys can make it happen it would be great and if not, it's not the end of the world so don't sweat it. Thank you guys for the dope time we had in the past. Great memories.
Alright, i think that's it from my side. Take care everyone and go see your loved ones. You never know what's around the corner...

Oi peeps, hope you're all doing fine.

This is admittedly a bit of a random one and probably not quite what a lot of you were waiting for from me but something that i was always curious about.
From those of you that played several Far Cry Games, or maybe even all of them, i would love to see a list where you rank the Far Cry Games that you've played from best to worst.
I'll make a list too of course and since this will probably be asked : i haven't stopped with Youtube. It just doesn't fit in my life right now,. There will be a time for it again though so stay tuned, if you want to.

My List :
#1 Far Cry 3
#2 Far Cry 4
#3 Far Cry Primal
#4 Far Cry 2
#5 Far Cry Blood Dragon
#6 Far Cry 1
#7 Far Cry 5
#8 Far Cry New Dawn
#9 Far Cry 6

If you have any question regarding my list feel free to ask, of course.

Looking forward to see your lists.

Have a good one peeps.

Hey Peeps, hope you're all doing fine out there. Just wanted to give you an heads up on a thing or two.

So i've taken a good look at Far Cry 6 and it seems like that it turned out to be pretty much exactly what i thought it would be : Far Cry 5 on the core with a few changes which unfortunately isn't really what i was looking for.
With having that said some of you might ask why i enjoyed Far Cry 4 then, which was basically the same principle : the core game being Far Cry 3 with a few changes. Well, that's because i liked Far Cry 3 heaps to begin with and the changes that were made towards Far Cry 4 were good changes. Changes that just refined an already well working formula.
Far Cry 5 on the other hand was an game i never enjoyed much to begin with, due to all the changes that were made that i personally couldn't appreciate much at all, and on Far Cry 6 it seems like they've even further doubled down on a lot of these changes that as i said before i could never appreciate much at all.
Taking all this into consideration (Far Cry 6 basically being an even worse Far Cry 5, for me personally at least, given what i would want to be able to do with this type of a game) and the very little fun and enjoyment i had with Far Cry 5, it's save to say that Far Cry 6 isn't something i will be interested to invest an major amount of my already sparse time in, at least as it stands for now. Of course there's always a possibility that i might see that different in the future but to be perfectly honest with you, that's very unlikely. So yeah, please don't wait for Far Cry 6 videos from me. I really don't think there will be any.

There will be other videos coming from me tough, of course. So if you enjoyed my content so far and don't mind me sticking to the old games i truly love doing videos with, at least for now, yeah look : you can stick around then.
I should be having a new video coming at the end of this or at the start of next month so if you decide to stay, i will see you there then.

Have a good one peeps.

Hi Peeps, hope y'all doing fine.
There is a slight suspicion on my end that some of you guys are probably keeping an close eye on the promotional Far Cry 6 type'a stuff that's been emerging recently.
With having seen more of actual uncut gameplay, my initial suspicion seems to be confirmed that the Core Gameplay Mechanics are pretty much straight up Far Cry 5 which depending on how much you liked the Core Gameplay Mechanis of Far Cry 5 is a plus or a minus. In my case, well, you know how much videos i made with Far Cry 5 and you know how much videos i've made with pre Far Cry 5 Far Cry Games...
Also, from what i understood (please correct me if i'm wrong there) Far Cry 6 went even more down the RPG Route and even traditional Skill Tree type of Character building is basically gone!? It appears to be the case that you can only upgrade your Character Skills throughout Equipment which ultimately will always be limiting on one side or the other since you can only wear so much. I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts about that (positive or negative) down below.
At this point i would assume that you guys are better off with not expecting Far Cry 6 videos from me. I think i have a good estimation where this game is going and that it won't be for me and as the past has shown, i'm fairly good in predicting that type'a shit, at least for myself. Of course i can't speak for everyone.
I also don't really know when you guys can expect a new video from me. I'm going through a thing or two at the moment and i need to "settle down" first before i will start to work on new stuff again but yeah, there are definitely plans in my head waiting to be realized so videos will definitely be coming. As i've said though, at this point i'm guessing not from Far Cry 6 from what it looks like till now.

Have a good one guys!

Update on the manually filed Copyright Claim from Ubisoft on my latest Far Cry 3 Video : Ubisoft released the Claim. Huge thanks for everyone from Ubisoft involved in the process and especially to Guilherme, the Community Manager from Ubisoft Brazil. Guilherme was super eager to help me out in this situation as soon as i got into contact with him. He just asked for the details and went straight to work to get this situation sorted out asap together with his team. Again, big thanks for everyone involved in the process. You clearly showed that you care a lot about the people that are putting a fair share of their time into creating the best possible content they can with your amazing games. You're good people and i sincerely appreciate you, thank you!

An even bigger thanks to my friend ‪@StealthGamerBR‬ . When i was explaining the situation to him he was very eager to help me out and straight away spoke to his contacts over at Ubi to see if they would potentially be interested in getting into contact with me, which they obviously did. Thank you so much buddy, i owe you.

To the individual from Ubisoft who manually filed the Copyright Claim against my video : if you did that for solely protecting your Artists/Companies work, fair enough. However : *manually* filing a Copyright Claim because of seventeen seconds worth of OST in an eleven and a half minute long video smells a bit fishy to me to say the very least. I would highly suggest you to stay away from doing something like that again in the future if you don't want me to further elaborate on that, for example in an dedicated video.

Again though, thank you to all the people involved in solving this situation. I sincerely appreciate your efforts!

Hi ‪@Ubisoft‬ and ‪@UbisoftMusic‬
According to the E-Mail i recieved from Youtube, you (to be precise Ubisoft Music) have manually claimed Copyright on my latest Far Cry 3 Stealth Outpost Liberation Video. Two weeks ago i've reached out to you Guys about this privately (to get this Situation solved without anyone else being involved) but unfortunately i didn't heard back from you.
The Copyright Claim is about the very last Portion of the Video, the Outro. We're speaking about 17 Seconds of the Far Cry 3 Soundtrack here that has literally been recorded Ingame with Nvidia Shadowplay and was imported into the Video.
If you Guys really did a manual Copyright Claim on my 11+ minute video, because of 17 Seconds of actual Ingame Soundtrack that i've used on that Outro, i don't think that's particularly fair. Bear in mind though : i can only refer to what was stated in the Youtube Mail, which said that you Guys manually claimed this. Of course there is absolutely a Chance that this wasn't the Case at all and that this was an automated Claim that has been falsly labeled as manual Claim. That's actually way more believable to me than to believe that someone from you claimed this manually for whatever Reason.
All this wouldn't be that big of a Deal to me since i can always mute Copyright claimed Sections with the Youtube Editior anyway. However, i can't really do that this Time. If i do so the Image Quality of my Video gets completely destroyed for whatever Reason. I've tried every Method that's aviable within the Youtube Editior and nothing works that maintains the original Image Quality. With the Standards i've set for my Videos i certainly can't leave it like that. That would obviously require me to reupload the Video if i want to get the original Image Quality back and of course get rid of your Copyright Claim. Needless to say that this is certainly something i'd like to avoid, if possible.
So to get this Situation solved there are basically two Options for me now :
Option 1 : Reuploading the Video without the Outro (to not have a Copyright Claim from you anymore and also get the original Image Quality of the Video back).
Option 2 : Getting you Guys to take care of the Situation and remove the Copyright Claim (so i can restore the Videos original State which would obviously also restore the original Image Quality).
I think it's needless to say that i would obviously prefer Option 2 since removing the Video (or rather setting it to private) and reuploading the Video would mean that all the Interactions from subscribers, fans, friends and so on, that already showed their Appreciation with commenting, are gone, at least on the reuploaded Video...
It would also mean that People would most likely keep asking me why i reuploaded the Video in the first Place. That would basically require me to explain the Situation over and over and over and over and over again (see what i did there?), basically repeatedly pointing my finger at you guys. That's something i would like to avoid since i'm still in the believe that this wasn't caused on your end, i hope.
So yeah, i sincerely hope that you take care of this Situation asap and remove the Copyright Claim from my Video. I'd certainly be super appreciative of it and i would make sure to let my Audience know that you guys handled the Situation like Champs.

Cheers.

Far Cry 6 delayed... I'm shocked! (i'm not, i actually called it...)
Fair play to Ubisoft though for delaying it rather than just releasing the game at all costs. Also props to them for postponing the game indefinitely instead of delaying it and announcing a new release date simultaneously which would create even more pressure to the Team in the sense of "the delay is shit but whatever, we can't have another one though so hurry up" (hurry up is the part that inevitably fucks shit up). Could mean that they're really trying to get their shit right, we'll see...
Since we're having a conversation about Far Cry 6 and since i get asked a lot about it recently : no, i don't have much hopes for the game to be something that i could dedicate myself to as much as i dedicated myself to far cry 3 and far cry 4 "back in the days", i mean taking far cry 5 and especially far cry new dawn into consideration... Also, like i've said before : when the gameplay trailers/reveals/showcases/whatever show that the game will have similar RPG elements like those that were introduced in Far Cry New Dawn (giant ass fucking enemy health bars and shit like that) then i won't even bother installing the game in the first place. I'm staying open minded though till i can make myself a good picture of the game.

Doom Eternal : my personal Conclusion (that nobody needs to agree with, alright?)

Warning : The BFG 10000... nah m8, i'm just kidding... Seriously though : this is more or less an essay. For those of you who don't like to read it up -> TLDR is at the bottom .

Since there are more and more Questions of the same type piling up on my commentary sections in regards to Doom Eternal, i wanted to take some time to answer at least some of them as good as i can. That way i have something that i can refer to in the future instead of answering the same shit over and over again in my commentary sections on a daily basis. It's of course mainly to let my subs know what's up with me in terms of Doom Eternal though and what they can expect from me when it comes to this game.
The short answer is : most likely nothing at all. The reality is that i don't really like playing the game much at all and due to that i obviously don't have any drive to work on videos with that game whatsoever. I know that i probably will disappoint quite a bunch of you with that, which believe me or not i'm truly sorry for, but it is what it is. I really can't force myself into producing videos with a game i don't enjoy playing much at all in the first place.
That probably already should've answered what most of you care about. I'm well aware of the fact that there are quite a bunch of you that want to hear why i'm not digging the game though. I will try my best to answer that to those of you. I will only address the main "issues" i have with the game though since addressing every little nook and cranny would go beyond the scope. I also want you guys to keep in mind that these are just my personal opinions. Nobody needs to agree on those but at least respect them for what they are : just my personal opinions. I also don't create this post to create any controversy, not at all. It's just there for giving answers to those of you who have asked for them really.
The probably most off-turning thing for me about Doom Eternal is how the developers had an very clear vision in their head how everyone was supposed to play their game (this alone is already rather bad imo.) and how badly they're going punish you, with complete and utter imbalances, if you wouldn't do so. This is especially noticable at the start of the game when dealing with the big boys. If you don't play the developer meta game and take down their turrets and canons you have to be ready to eat a whole lot of shit due to complete and utter imbalances in terms of projectile velocity, damage output (to some extend at least), number of opponents and due to some absolute bullshit attacks that aren't even dodgeable in the first place, at least at certain ranges. If you're playing like the developers want you to play though (disabling shit first, only using specific weapons/mods against certain enemies, always jump and dash around like an absolute plonker) all these artificial difficulty increases almost become irrelevant and the big boys become absolutely worthless bullet sponges you can pretty much ignore the shit out of until you feel like dealing with them. Establishing something like that as a baseline of a game so to speak (play by our rules or you get punished to a point where the game isn't even fun to play anymore) is rather questionable in my opinion. It certainly doesn't work for me at all as there is way too much freedom taken away in terms of how i personally would like to tackle a game.
When i was playing Doom Eternal i felt like that all these "rules" led to an rather defensive playstyle. That was rather noticable to me especially on the bigger fights. It felt like all i was doing is running/jumping around in circles like an absolute numpty, applying chip damage, dash out and chainsaw for ammo over and over and over again. As long as i did that, i really didn't had much of a struggle with any of the arenas at all on Nightmare. The problem is just that it didn't really felt satisfying to me having to play that way, not at all. The fights never really flowed all that well for me and the need to chainsaw over and over again due to your rather limited ammo capacity didn't helped much at all in that regard either.
The ammo capacity in this game, and the therefore constant need to chainsaw over and over again (especially on big fights), is really something that annoyed the ever-living shit out of me. At some points on some of the big fights (Slayer Gates for example) i was running low/out of ammo (once again) and i ended up with searching for remaining fodders, for a solid minute it felt like, that i could chainsaw just to have some ammo to work with again against the big boys. Needless to say that this just further broke the flow of the fights for me badly. On my first playthrough i've already spend literally every single Sentinal Crystal into increasing Ammo Capacity but what i've described there was happening over and over again. The new, in my opinion rather questionable, chainsaw ammo system didn't helped much at all on those instances either.
Something i really didn't liked about Doom Eternal either was that there was way too much downtime for my liking between actual fights (which is essentially what a Doom game is all about for me) and what they came up with for you to do there. I think the best example i could think off is probably the Doom Hunter Base. In that level it feels like that you're spending 80% of your time doing in my opinion absolutely unsatisfying/unrewarding and downright poorly made platforming sections and the remaining 20% that are going into your fights aren't that great either. Most of them are just little inbetween type of fight sections rather than properly and carefully crafted arenas. This whole downtime topic runs through the entire game, most definitely not to an extend like in the Doom Hunter Base but still to an extend that's way too big, at least for me. In a Doom game i'd rather spend my time on actual combat instead of doing something like boring ass poorly made platforming sections that sometimes look like an straight copy paste out of fucking super mario.
There is a whole lot (and i really do mean a whole lot) of other absolutely retarded ass or even downright broken shit i could complain about but i think i leave it there since this covers my main complaints i have with the game, i think. As i've said before : i didn't really made this post to needlessly shit all over the game. I've just made that post mainly to explain myself towards my subscribers and people who are waiting for Doom Eternal content from me because i felt like i owe them an explanation at least.
That doesn't mean that this is going to be the end of Doom Content for my Channel though. Plenty of Missions left to do/redo in 2016 and i'm really looking forward to that already.

Cheers guys.

TLDR : Game isn't my cup of tea -> no videos -> sorry.

What's up peeps.
In the linked video Volound (one of the closest "e-friends" of mine) adresses some seriously fucked up shit that i want you guys to be aware of. I know, it's an 32 minute video but it's very well elaborated and spoken (as usual when it comes to these type of videos from him) and as i've said, it's something i'd really like to make you aware of. This could be especially important to those of you who do similar things on youtube like we do.
Take care!
