Hi ‪@Ubisoft‬ and ‪@UbisoftMusic‬
According to the E-Mail i recieved from Youtube, you (to be precise Ubisoft Music) have manually claimed Copyright on my latest Far Cry 3 Stealth Outpost Liberation Video. Two weeks ago i've reached out to you Guys about this privately (to get this Situation solved without anyone else being involved) but unfortunately i didn't heard back from you.
The Copyright Claim is about the very last Portion of the Video, the Outro. We're speaking about 17 Seconds of the Far Cry 3 Soundtrack here that has literally been recorded Ingame with Nvidia Shadowplay and was imported into the Video.
If you Guys really did a manual Copyright Claim on my 11+ minute video, because of 17 Seconds of actual Ingame Soundtrack that i've used on that Outro, i don't think that's particularly fair. Bear in mind though : i can only refer to what was stated in the Youtube Mail, which said that you Guys manually claimed this. Of course there is absolutely a Chance that this wasn't the Case at all and that this was an automated Claim that has been falsly labeled as manual Claim. That's actually way more believable to me than to believe that someone from you claimed this manually for whatever Reason.
All this wouldn't be that big of a Deal to me since i can always mute Copyright claimed Sections with the Youtube Editior anyway. However, i can't really do that this Time. If i do so the Image Quality of my Video gets completely destroyed for whatever Reason. I've tried every Method that's aviable within the Youtube Editior and nothing works that maintains the original Image Quality. With the Standards i've set for my Videos i certainly can't leave it like that. That would obviously require me to reupload the Video if i want to get the original Image Quality back and of course get rid of your Copyright Claim. Needless to say that this is certainly something i'd like to avoid, if possible.
So to get this Situation solved there are basically two Options for me now :
Option 1 : Reuploading the Video without the Outro (to not have a Copyright Claim from you anymore and also get the original Image Quality of the Video back).
Option 2 : Getting you Guys to take care of the Situation and remove the Copyright Claim (so i can restore the Videos original State which would obviously also restore the original Image Quality).
I think it's needless to say that i would obviously prefer Option 2 since removing the Video (or rather setting it to private) and reuploading the Video would mean that all the Interactions from subscribers, fans, friends and so on, that already showed their Appreciation with commenting, are gone, at least on the reuploaded Video...
It would also mean that People would most likely keep asking me why i reuploaded the Video in the first Place. That would basically require me to explain the Situation over and over and over and over and over again (see what i did there?), basically repeatedly pointing my finger at you guys. That's something i would like to avoid since i'm still in the believe that this wasn't caused on your end, i hope.
So yeah, i sincerely hope that you take care of this Situation asap and remove the Copyright Claim from my Video. I'd certainly be super appreciative of it and i would make sure to let my Audience know that you guys handled the Situation like Champs.

Cheers.
