Mama Doll created The Black Doll Affair social club to shine a light on Black Girl Magic! We promote Black beauty in living dolls and toy Black dolls. Our mission is to restore Black Girl Joy and help heal the lasting impact of historic doll tests—when Black children were taught to see white dolls as “good” and Black dolls as “bad,” “ugly,” or “less preferred.” Representation Matters at The Black Doll Affair self-esteem movement. Empowering Black Women and Girls, uplifting the Black community, showcasing positive Black images and Black activism, celebrating Black womanhood, Black Girl sisterhood, Black Excellence and reminding all Blacks of their beauty, power, and worth.
